I have ridden my motorcycles year around for almost 30 years now. I know a few things about cold weather riding. I bought the Thermo suit because it was recommended to me by a biker friend. Not cheep, but he swore by it. I put my money down and I've never looked back. Best money I have EVER spent on ANYTHING dealing with a motorcycle. I rode 200 miles of interstate at 70 to 80 mph from 3 am to 5 am one morning to get to a hospital for my sons surgery. It was 23 degrees when I climbed on the bike. I was wearing a short sleeved polo shirt and some cargo pants under the suit. My body never got cold. My toes and fingers liked to have gotten frostbite but, other than that, I stayed warm. If you ride in the cold do yourself a favor and just get one. If Firstgear stopped making them, you couldn't buy mine for any amount of money.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Can I wear my padded jacket either under or over this suit?

I have a firstgear riding jacket with shoulder, elbow, and back pads. I would like to be able to wear it with the rain suit. I wear a large according to your chart. Can I wear my jacket over the suit, or should I get a X-large so the suit goes over the jacket? I also have long leggs for my height and weight. (35" inseam) Will I need the X-large for longer legg length. Thank you.
I don't think you'll need the jacket. If it's above 60 you'll likely burn up in the Thermo suit. It's toasty.
