GoPro HD Hero3 Black Edition Camera The Wi-Fi enabled HERO3 Black Edition is the most advanced GoPro, ever. No expense was spared during its development, resulting in a GoPro that is 30 smaller, 25 lighter and 2x more powerful than previous models. Wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to 197' (60m), capable of capturing ultra-wide 1440p 48fps, 1080p 60 fps and 720p 120 fps video and 12MP photos at a rate of 30 photos per second, the HERO3 Black Edition is the world's most versatile camera. Built-in Wi-Fi, GoPro App compatibility and the included Wi-Fi Remote make the HERO3 Black Edition all the more versatile, still. I compared several of the top video cameras before deciding to order the GoPro Hero 3 Black. I am happy to say I made the right choice. What about you?
The best advice I received before ordering the Hero 3 Black was this: "If you want to moto-vlog, grab the least expensive of the top-four video cameras. If you want the best possible video quality, get the Hero 3 Black." As an amateur photographer and stickler for quality, that was the final input that led me to this camera. I can now say the same without qualification: if you want the best video quality, get the Hero 3 Black edition.
The good: 1) Video quality is outstanding, and you can choose from so many options that it really makes your head spin initially. Trust me: start with 1080p at 29.97 frames-per-second and then decide if you need to make adjustments. See the video link included with this review for an example of the footage possible. 2) The included water-proof case is outstanding. It is tough, but easy to operate the controls using the 'plunger' style extension buttons. 3) The included mounts are a good start (Hint: DO NOT DISCARD THE MOUNT THE CAMERA IS CONNECTED TO AS PART OF THE PACKING MATERIAL... this gives you one more way to sit the camera down and use it, or you can make your own custom mount from it). 4) The GoPro mounting system is rock-solid! One mounted, the camera does not move. 5) GoPro stands behind this camera! I have contacted them twice with questions, and they have replied in a timely manner with great solutions. In addition, they sell about every accessory imaginable as well as replacement parts.
The bad: 1) The included documentation stinks. In fact, it's hard to call the few pages of documentation found in the package 'documentation'. It's less than the basic knowledge required. You need to go to the GoPro web-site and get the downloadable PDF manual. Also, go to YouTube and start browsing for GoPro Hero 3 Tips. There are a ton and many are exceptional. 2) The battery life could be better. When I've used the camera and the remote control, the battery lasts about 45 minutes (probably because the camera uses WiFi to communicate with the remote control). With the WiFi signal turned off, I can get more than 1 hour 45 minutes of continuous record time. I recommend you pick up spare batteries. 3) Oddly, GoPro does not include a charger with the Hero 3. You would think for the price, they could include a wall charger. Still, with the included cables, you can use a standard USB wall-charger, or your computer's USB port. 4) The built-in microphone average, and practically useless when used on a motorcycle at speeds greater than about 20mph. Many people have written on how to connect an external microphone or how to use an off-camera recorder so you can capture great sound, but don't expect the Hero 3 to do this for you.
Other: 1) Get the free downloadable GoPro App (available for iOS, Windows phone, and Android). With it you can adjust camera settings much faster than using the button driven interface built into the camera. You can also see a preview of what the camera lens sees. You will need this to line up your shots and correctly position your camera on a mount.
Overall: It's about the video! This camera delivers the very best video available in a compact camera that can take a beating, accompany you underwater, and fit in your shirt pocket. If you want to create great video and you need a compact package, click the order button now. When you combine the quality of this camera with Revzilla's customer satisfaction guarantee, you will not be sorry.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is my first motorcycle jacket and I am glad I have the Olympia Switchback every time I ride.
A note about the Hi-Def Yellow: I purchased the jacket with the Hi-Def Yellow highlights to ensure I was as visible as possible. I once had an accident where I thought the other driver looked right at me, just before turning directly into my path. I decided, "It is better to avoid a collision in the first place by being as visible as possible." I have already had one person tell me, "I could see your three blocks away!"
The jacket fits true to size and allows you to comfort-fit the waist as well as the snugness of the elbow-pads using velcro pulls. These straps are ample in size so you can easily grab and adjust them even while wearing your gloves. The width used also means the velcro strap does not cut into you as it snugs up the fabric.
The outside hand-pockets are handy and zip closed. The zipper operation is up to close, down to open. While some may be concerned about a zipper that opens unintentionally, these will not. The combination of the heavy-duty closure and the pocket-fabric ensures the zipper stays in place until you pull it.
There are two pockets inside the left-hand side of the jacket. One is called a cell-phone pocket, and will fit an iPhone easily. The cell-phone pocket closes with a velcro tab. Oddly, it is NOT waterproof. Since the waterproof liner rests agains your body, there is no rain protection for this pocket. If you are riding in the rain you will need to find a way to protect your cell phone or other electronic device. The other interior pocket is larger and is positioned directly behind the cell-phone pocket. This larger pocket is zipper closed. In case of rain the contents of this pocket will also get wet.
The waterproof liner jacket is easily removed and packs well in a saddlebag. I have not used mine in the rain, but I have used it on chilly days. It does an excellent job of blocking the wind, allowing you to ride on cool days without using heated gear.
Airflow on the jacket is exceptional. Even on 90-degree days I almost feel like I am wearing a t-shirt while moving, but I have the jacket to provide protections. When stopped, yes you will get warm with the jacket on, but this is a small price to pay for the added protection. Besides, who remains at a stop any longer than they have to? Ride!
My only complaint is about the "custom-fit" collar. The collar is designed to provide an inch or so of protection around your neck. It does this well, and comfortably. However, if I have the collar zipped up, the combination of the design and the material causes my helmet chinstrap to snag on the edge of the collar when I turn my head. On nice days I solve this problem by not zipping the main zipper all the way to the top, leaving the collar open. On chilly days I have to deal with the occasional pull and pop of my chin strap against this collar. This is not a deal-breaker, but you should be aware that your helmet strap may cause the same problem.
I hope you found this review helpful. If you are looking for a protective jacket that will provide 3-season comfort, why delay your purchase any longer?
Yes, I recommend this product.

The new Sub glove chassis enjoys several benefits previously found only on gloves at a much higher price. Built around a proven Battlehide goatskin palm and finger gussets foundation, the Sub is more than ready for asphalt chaos. A lightweight textile backhand with a high-mobility thumb, not only creates a prime canvas for Icon's finest art, but provides excellent dexterity and abrasion resistance. Completing the protection package is the plastic knuckle armor group fortified to help disperse the shock of the incoming tarmac barrage. The Sub glove - designed to do your dirty work so your skin doesn't have too. Abrasion resistant premium grade Battlehide goatskin palm Injected plastic knuckle armor Short cuff design with secure wrist closure Pre-curved palm and finger design Imported

As a new rider, my search for gloves began at local shops. Perhaps because it was wintertime, their selection was exceptionally limited. Turning to Revzilla, I searched based on price and reviews, eventually settling on a pair of Icon Sub Stealth Gloves, size Large. The gloves are exceptionally lightweight and "fit like a glove" (though perhaps a bit snug compared to most other gloves). Airflow is excellent, so these will make a great summer glove, but don't look for warmth on chilly days. The palm has excellent protection, as do the knuckles, and the velcro wrist closure promises that the glove will remain in place in the event of an accident. I have noticed some bunching in the palm while squeezing the hand-grips... not a good sign. Finally, I worry that the thin fabric on the back of the hand would quickly disintegrate in a fall at any speed over 15-20MPH. I can recommend these as backup gloves, but I am now looking for a primary pair of gloves that offer much more protection and confidence.
Yes, I recommend this product.
