The ICON Stryker Back Protector starts with a custom molded bio-foam chassis. Designed to mold to your back, air channels within the foam allow heat to escape resulting in reduced fatigue. Secured to the chassis are three layers of impact absorbing foam which are capped by an articulated reinforced plastic shell. The reinforced shell helps diffuse impact forces. In addition, the shoulder and waist straps are removable providing you with the option of installing the back protector into certain Icon jackets. EN 161-2/03/AC2006 Ce approval Removable shoulder and waist straps allows armor to be directly inserted into certain Icon jackets Custom armor plate finishing Comfortable and non-restrictive Custom molded biofoam chassis Imported

The straps that they come with look like they would hold it in place while riding. I purchased to upgrade that pathetic pad that my Hooligan2 jacket came with. FIts perfectly in my jacket pocket and makes my jacket a little more snug fitting. I prefer the tighter fit anyways. Only problem is that the backpad does add heat. Can definately feel the extra heat over the stock pad. Just wish it was a higher CE rating.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I baught them specifically because they are waterproof. Rode a couple times in the rain and they did great at keeping my feet dry. Good sole, beefy material and looks awesome. Only thing that bothers me is that the wicking material they use on the opening irritates my high ankle. Not too much of a problem because I use longer socks with these boots anyways. Pretty comfortable to walk around when I get to my destination. They look awesome and give me good convidence that my feet will be safe on my commutes.

The gauntlet adjusting strap is hard to operate with the gloves on. The sizing is on the larger size. The thumb just feels longer than it should be for my hands. Overall good gloves that I use nightly on my commute home. Keeps my hands dry and warm so I can comfortably grip my handbars.

It fits perfectly over my Hooligan 2 jacket. Only problem is that the front pockets get water in them because they do not have a "zipper garage". It isnt a big deal as I put my phone in my Hooligan jacket to keep it dry anyways.

sizing

Just wondering about sizing.
I tried on 9US at my local shop and they will too tight in the toes but felt okay elsewhere.
I then tried 10US which felt too louse around the ankle area.

Would 9.5US fit okay then? my local doesn't carry half sizes.
I wear an 11 for my regular sneaker and the 11 I ordered fits just about right. I would say sizing is spot on.
