I wear leather year round and wearing a t-shirt under race cut leather makes for amusing times with friends. I always wear a base layer such as this under my leathers(A* Motegi & A* Celer) to make removal easier and to keep me feeling comfortable. I sweat a lot and this base layer makes me feel like I'm not sweating. Its ability to wick sweat helps me feel much cooler than if I were to be stewing in my own sweat.
I once decided to skip the base layer and go with just a t-shirt. When we got to our destination, I had 2 friends pulling on each arm of my leather jacket because the sweat made it so hard to remove. We got a lot of strange looks from passerbys. With this base layer, my jacket slides right off. Surprisingly, the base layer doesn't smell after riding. I do hand wash it regularly.

Major improvement over SMH10 but could use some work

I used an SMH 10 last year and have been waiting for the 20S to be released. I finally ordered mine last week and received it in a day. Thanks as always, Revzilla! I tested it over the weekend by riding to VA and back on Saturday and upstate NY on Sunday for a total of 800 miles and 16 hours in the saddle.
The helmet i use is the new Scorpion EXO-R2000.
1. The quality of the 20S is much higher than the SMH10. Everything feels more solid and the plastic is of better quality. Also, I always had problems with the ear bud clamp on my smh10. I had to reinforce the audio port. With the 20S, the audio port is now built in. My one gripe is the new way the device fits into the clamp. The 20S slides down on a rail into the clamp. Therefore, I either have to space out the clamp away from my helmet due to a ridge, or unscrew the clamp every time I want to remove the device. There is a ridge on the side of my helmet that does not allow the 20S to slide up or the antenna to deploy. The old SMH10 clamp wins in this area.
2. The 20S speaker quality is hands down a major improvement over the SMH10. There is adequate bass and decent clarity. However, that is in a static test with no ear plugs in and sitting still in a quiet room. The 20S speakers cannot get loud enough especially on the highway with earplugs. I'm not sure if this is a hardware limitation but maybe it's not and can be improved in a later firmware update. The great thing is, I have the option to disconnect the speakers from the clamp unlike the smh10 which required different clamps for speakers vs ear buds. However, I have opted to leave the speakers in because the 20S will shut off the speakers if ear buds are plugged into the audio port. This is a win for the 20S
3. The voice command setup for the 20S did not exist in the SMH10 and works very well. The 20S had no problem understanding my mumbling even at highway speeds. It also has made manipulating the device much simpler.
4. FM radio was a great addition but could use some improvement. I really liked the seek, preset, & temporary preset functions. However, reception is weak. Living near NYC, I do not have many problems receiving major stations. However, as I rode further away the signals got weaker much earlier than if I were driving in a car. I believe the 20S could use an antenna upgrade or perhaps integrate it into the retractable intercom antenna.
5.Bluetooth connectivity. Pairing my phone, GPS, & Gopro Audio pack were a breeze. I have not had any issues with dropping connection or clarity. My SMH10 would freeze occasionally but I have not yet had an issue with the 20S. Time will tell.
6. Call quality. It's hard to differentiate the two. Even with the SMH10, callers never realized I was on a motorcycle. The full face helmet may have helped, but I believe Sena has always excelled in their noise cancelling technology.
7. Android app. This is an excellent addition. This gives you the option to check bluetooth connection to devices, set radio presets, set up speed dials, and adjust settings you would find in the Sena device update program for your PC. There is also a quick user guide in the app which is great because who wants to carry around an instruction manual.
8. My one major gripe about the 20S is the clamping system. The clamping system does not conform as well to helmets as the SMH 10. Therefore, on my Scorpion EXO-R2000 helmet there is a gap between the clamp and the helmet just below the clamp's rubber pad. This causes excessive wind noise to be transmitted to the shell of the helmet. My Scorpion EXO-R2000 helmet is normally very quiet with nothing attached. The SMH10 increases wind noise slightly but was much quieter than the 20S. The rounded profile and the clamping system that contoured to the helmet better may have helped. I will be experimenting with the position of the 20S on my helmet. Others may have differing experiences as this may be the result of the helmet, bike, & windshield combination causing the wind to hit my helmet and the 20S in a certain spot.
In conclusion, I found the 20S to be well worth cost over the SMH10. The 20S is still very new, so I'm sure Sena will release firmware updates for various improvements. I am happy with my purchase and am glad I did not wait any longer.

Awesome jacket. I have a size 48 2-piece motegi suit and the size 48 Celer jacket fit perfectly as well. The jacket has great styling cues and very well ventilated with zippered vents along the back and collar bones. I was able to deal with the top part of the motegi jacket in 90 degree heat last summer and i feel like the celer flows much more air. This will definitely cover a wider temperature range. I was worried about trying to find the right zipper size to mate to the jacket's 360 zipper but the Celer jacket also comes with an extra zipper you can take to your tailor to attach to pants.

I've had a gopro hero3 silver and Sena SMH10 for about a year and always had a problem with recording voice. The gopro is mounted to my triple tree using a techmount fork mount. My options were to narrate while editing or have a second microphone wired to my helmet. I have yet to try it on the bike, but preliminary testing turned out awesome. It recorded audio very clearly especially with the visor down.
The SMH10 always amazes people when they find out i'm taking their call while on a motorcycle. This same clarity is recorded by the bluetooth backpack.
An added bonus is that charging the bluetooth backpack also charges the gopro battery. This means i can run one USB cable to the combo and not have to worry about batteries dying while I ride.
I highly recommend this for convenience especially if your gopro is not mounted to your helmet so that wires are not connecting you to a part on the bike.

Great suit for the price.
Fitment:
I am 5'9" 150lbs. so thin for my height. I ordered a size 48. The jacket fits me perfectly. With the bionic race back protector and chest protectors, it fits like a second skin. The shoulder pads were a bit tight at first but it has since broken in. I'm guessing the lining stretched out a bit.
The waist on the pants are perfect. However, the pant length is a little shorter than I'd like. With the knee pads in the correct positions, the waist is pulled down. It feels as if the upper thigh section is too short for my height. When I zip the pants to the jacket, it pulls the zipper section down. I'm glad I got the 2 piece suit as this would probably have been a problem with the 1 piece suit. I would have liked to order the pants in one size up, but the width of the legs and waist would have been too large.
Other than the pants length, Iove this suit. I wear it every time i ride, even to work. I figure if I have to change my pants for work anyway, I mind as well wear the full suit since it doesn't take long to change out of.
Everything seems to be of excellent quality except for the leather pull tab on the main jacket zipper. It tore off the first time I pulled on it. no big deal as there is still the normal metal pull and it is covered by the velcro flap.
There seems to be enough air flow for now, but I'm not sure how cool I'll be in the summer. I do wear alpinestars compression top and bottoms which helps when putting on and taking off the suit. It also helps to regulate body temperature. Time will tell how well it does in the summer.
I wear this suit with Sidi Vortice boots and the legs tuck in nicely without pinching or bunching up.

Sidi Vortice Boots It was thought that the award winning Sidi Vertigo Corsa boot was the pinnacle of sport boot technology. Until today that is as Sidi is proud to introduce the next step in the evolutionary chain The Vortice. The latest in technology combined with the great skill and workmanship of Sidis Italian based factory technicians blend in a whirl of fresh solutions to satisfy a riders desire for safety and comfort. Constructed of Lorica and is lined with Teflon vented mesh. Only Sidi goes to trouble and expense of creating a multiple liner boot system in its racing boots. Lorica is a composite micro fiber material created from strands that are so fine, each one is less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Sidi has added a small elastic panel to aid in a smooth zipper operation as it allows a bit of movement via the elastic as the zipper passes over the riders ankle ball. The rear upper part of the boot is made up of the following mechanisms A) The TECNO CALF TENSIONER mechanism adjusts the leg circumference. Placed in the back of the boots upper, it works through a nylon wire that hooks directly to the shin plate. B) The TECNO SHIN TENSIONER mechanism helps the TECNO CALF TENSIONER close the leg upper on the front part of the boot. The two lateral nylon braces join the ankle joint with two screws that are protected by nylon caps. This system is reinforced with fiberglass, supports the ankle and is easy to replace. This system allows excellent flex movement front-to-back while being firm side-to-side. Tecno Instep Tensioner, a fastening system on the front part of the foot, on the instep. Shock Absorbing Heel Cup Non-vented Shin Plate Gear Change Pad Vortice Slider toe slider is made in nylon reinforced with fiberglass. It is fitted with a new air intake and an innovative alloy insert. Racing SRS Sole all new sole is constructed of a polyurethane and rubber blend.

I normally wear a size 9.5US which is about 1/4" too large. I purchased a set of Vortices in 9.5/43 and they fit perfectly! The adjusters really help get the perfect fit. Once you are riding, you don't even notice they are there.
There is plenty of feel through the sole of the boot and it is great that the soles are replaceable as are most other parts on the boot.
I highly recommend wearing long socks, compression pants, or tucking your leathers into the boots. The inside of the boot may be uncomfortable against bare skin. I have smaller legs so the boot pinched a little. Once I wear leather or long socks, it felt very comfortable and the boot's inner material did a great job of managing a comfortable temperature.
The adjusters and vents need a little time to break in but no big deal. The boots make walking a little awkward but so do all other boots with this much tech. They're still easier to walk in than snowboarding or ski boots.
Revzilla's youtube review convinced me to buy these boots and I couldn't be happier. If you are on the fence about these boots, watch the review and just remember that these boots offer a lot of protection and features for the price.

I wanted something with a little more protection around the wrists and decided on the SP-2 gloves. I am on the higher end of the size M range but these gloves fit well. After a week of break-in, They fit perfectly and the knuckle protectors sat correctly and comfortably over my knuckles.
These gloves could use another velcro or adjustment strap at the wrist section. It is an elastic section with a velcro strap at the end of the gauntlet. It would have been a little better if I could snug it up a bit more at the wrist, but it's not a big deal.

I am a size small in bell helmets(long squarish face) and got a size small for the EXO-500. The fit was perfect at the crown but was initially a bit too snug at the top of the cheek pads and looser at the bottom. The cheek pads settled into a perfect fit in about a week and the airfit technology evened up the pressure on the lower portion of the cheeks. This is a great piece of tech for helmets and really personalizes the fit.
The fog free visor works very well and is easy to open, close, and lock with gloves on. The sun visor is a welcome feature and is also easy to flip up and down with gloves on.
There isn't a lot of ventilation, but it does a decent job at speed.
I purchased a matte black version. It isn't exactly matte, it's more of a satin black finish but no complaints. I am very happy with this purchase.
