I've had this helmet for a few months and I must say that though its not the worst, its not the best either. The helmet is comfortable, stylish, and not too overly expensive. At the time of purchase I spent $250(not at RevZilla). I thought that wasn't a bad price until I started really researching helmets and the features that come with. My issues with the helmet is that there is no locking feature for when the faceshield is closed. You have to push down on the top of the faceshield to ensure a proper seal or else there's a space for a good amount of air flow to get in. I've actually had a bug find its way thru it and fly around inside the helmet. Shortly after purchase, the nose insert began falling apart. My last gripe with the helmet is that it's pretty loud on the inside. Though I am not looking for a complete noise cancellation helmet, I do expect one that won't cause me to blow out my speakers to drown out the excessive noise.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Utilizing an advanced leather and mesh hybrid construction, Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon Glove offers the street rider superior comfort and performance while the carbon fiber knuckle and Clarino reinforced palm ensures high levels of protection. Lightweight hybrid leather and mesh upper construction offers the ideal combination of durability, abrasion resistance and comfort. Synthetic leather palm construction with Clarino reinforcements provides extra durability and protection where it is needed most. Upon purchasing, I thought the gloves looked great. They are very comfortable and don't slide off your hand as much. My issue with the glove is that it started to fall apart early. The tiny grips on the fingers peeled off after about a week of riding back and forth to work. I keep my finger nails clipped but even still, the ends of the fingers began to tear apart. Within a couple weeks, my fingers were poking thru the gloves. Though the gloves look great, I was expecting a little more from the quality.
