I am 6 feet and weigh 220 pounds. I was recently told that I was built like Wolverine. Broad shoulders, barrel chested and big arms. I like to lift Kettlebells... Heavy Kettlebells! I went with a 58 and feel like I have room for add on protection, but its not sloppy without. After I put it on for the first time, I was like... Woah, did they make this just for me?
It's snug, yet roomy and provides the most insane feeling of Ahhhhh when you slide it on. This is some serious quality, and have had friends mention that they didn't know leather could feel like this. When you buy your jacket, you want four things; comfort, Check! fit, Check! protection, Check! and style, Check! speaking of armor... I was a bit disappointed at this price point it is NOT included, but not the end of the world.. it does have forearm, elbow and shoulder protection built in but is removeable.
Quality throughout, the 3d bubble liner is fantastic and the attention to detail is unmatched!
I could go on and on, but instead of you reading this review, click the "order" button and see for yourself.

I couldn't be more pleased with this helmet. It has the features I wanted, most notably the drop down sun visor. Wearing sunglasses under a helmet can be a royal pain. Besides, if you're riding into the sunset and it gets dark, well, now you've got to stop and remove, and store your glasses. I would think that people that wear glasses for vision and not sun would really appreciate this feature. I know this helment is not Snell approved, as they do not test helmets with visors integrated into the helmet. Having said that, I know that Shoei makes great products.
The venting is top notch, but I may not be the best person to comment on that since I shave my head, so even a little flow will be felt to a higher degree since my nugget is exposed.
The pinlock system is a snap and since it comes in the box, you don't feel ripped off on models that require a separate purchase. Being in Minnesota you can expect the shield to fog, so I tested it without... foggy, and then again with... Fogless! Perfectly brilliant!
The price is on par for a helmet of this quality, and feel it was well worth the investment. Cheaper helmets will yield to stiff pressure with your hands on either side, but not with this one. It's rigid, yet comfortable.
The bottom line is that if you want to protect your head, leave your shades at home and have a breezy, quiet shell, look no further!
