OVERALL
Price is cheap for a first buy, protection is there, style is not. Loud but if you're new you won't be hitting the highways.
If you have some extra time and money, upgrade and get a Shoei or Arai or Scorpion, Just saying. ;)

The gloves fit like a charm. Got a medium size. I'm 19 years old and I've been using them for a month.

obviously... don't buy for the winter(i made that mistake, i thought the summer would be around soon)
Started to rip after awhile along the palm where you would pull the gloves on.. so that upset me. (i just sewed it some more reinforcement and it is great now.. but still.)

Alpinestars T-GP Plus Air Jacket The T-GP Plus Air jacket is an abrasion resistant summer mesh jacket constructed from 600 Denier Polyester Fabric and non-water absorbing mesh. This jacket has a Sport fit with pre curved sleeves for riding comfort, particularly suited for riders on a Sportbike. A tailored fit can be obtained through waist and wrist adjustments which include non aggressive micro-velcro tabs. A waist connection zipper allows attachment to selected Alpinestars leather and textile pants. Protection features include removable CE certified Bio Armor elbow and shoulder protectors. As in all Alpinestars Jackets, there is a Chest pad compartment with PE padding (Bionic Chest Pads available for purchase separately) and Back protector compartment with PE padding (CE certified Bio Armor Back Protector available separately). Purchased this jacket some weeks ago, not quite a month yet. And I love everything about it. First Jacket, and I didn't know what to really expect. I'm 5'11'' 167lbs and I just guessed and bought a medium. It's not the best fit but it works. Just a little bit tight but it feels right like that.
I have not fell with the jacket on but the protection that is included seems durable and I can say that it's definitely a smart buy as your first jacket or if you just needed an upgrade because the price isn't to bad.
My mistake... I bought it during the winter because it is almost spring so I just said "why not the weather will warm soon." bad mistake. the wind just flies right through the jacket... which is a good thing ;) if it was summer. So air flow is not a problem.

SMX-2 Air Carbon versus the SP-8
Everyday I ride 20 miles one way to work, partly in-town stop-and-go traffic and out on county highways. I have a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and an Alpinestars T-GP-R Air jacket. The Alpinestars SP-8 and SMX-2 Air Carbon appear to be awesome riding gloves. What is the main difference between the gloves and do you recommend one over the other for my riding?
Personally I see that the SP-8 has a little more protection for the wrists. and the style is different. I own the SMX-2 air carbons and they feel amazing and fit great with good air flow. Comfort is there and the quality is there. SP-8 would be very nice because it goes down to your wrist. Only con it doesn't have the solid knuckle protection that the SMX-2 has. I'd go with the SP-8.

About sizing,my chest is 88cm,my waist is 80cm and my hip 88cm.can u help me which size should I go for alpinestars T-GP plus air jacket?

Check out the size chart, Personally I would say SM, but best bet would to go into a local store, or a little drive to a bike shop so you can try a couple jackets on and see exactly how they fit.
