This is a very comfortable shoe/boot. The "feel" on the foot controls is excellent. Walking around is no problem.

Deuce Pants by Scorpion Fully armed and full-cut, these ballistic nylon mesh overpants are as cool as they look. Waterproof liner adds warmth when you need it. Articulated EXO-TEC CE armor in the knees and hips combines protection with ease of movement, and wide legs can be worn outside boots. Big zippered pockets keep cargo safely stowed, and plenty of it.

A great buy and have to be better than kevlar jeans.

Buy one size larger if you want to wear these over jeans, etc. I am 6ft, 165 pounds. I normally wear a 32 waist but purchased size large. I was pleased to see that there was enough adjustment in the waist so I can wear these without jeans as well.
The build quality is excellent and they should provide decent protection.

sizing
Just wondering about sizing.
I tried on 9US at my local shop and they will too tight in the toes but felt okay elsewhere.
I then tried 10US which felt too louse around the ankle area.
Would 9.5US fit okay then? my local doesn't carry half sizes.

I wear a 91/2 D shoe and purchased the 91/2 boot. The fit is great.

Will these work for a short rider?
I tip toe my zx-10r in sneakers. And I am fine with that but will these shoes take further away from my height since it seems like they don't have much sole.

These are not any better than sneakers. Probably less height.

Is the waterproof liner "breathable"
No. They are also very slick and might cause the outer pant to ride up your leg in the event that you have a get-off. I removed my liner as these pants are questionable for use in the rain.
