The item looks pretty good, however mine was shipped with a smudge that I can't remove, though it doesn't bother me much. I did expect it to be more...reflective. In some light you can see straight through it, but that's a very specific kind of light that you won't run into on a day-to-day basis of riding.
The biggest drawback to this visor is I can tell the reflective silver coating WILL come off if scratched. Be very, very careful. This is why I gave it a 3/5 in durability.

How durable is the mirrored finish?

Several reviews here and elsewhere claiming the mirrored tints are so low quality you can wipe them off with the included cloth. Others claim any attempt to clean makes it flake off. Can anyone confirm?
I haven't had to wash my visor, but I'm very certain that just washing it wouldn't remove the tint. I can, however, be certain that if your visor gets scratched that this finish would flake off in a heartbeat.
