I have been using this bag mainly for commuting to work. I use it to hold my shoes, tinted visor and such. I also intend to use it for overnight and 2 day trips.
I ride a 2012 Ninja 650 which has a plastic cover over the front part of the tank. This means that only the 2 back magnets and the safety strap are holding the bag on my tank. So far it does not seem to be an issue. The magnets are strong enough to hold it in place, although I could see it being a problem if you had an item in the bag that was heavy and shifting around as you ride.
I have not used this bag in the rain yet so I can not speak to how well it works in that department. I did notice that in the review they said it was "water resistant" . That is not the same as water proof. If you must have a water proof bag make sure it says "water proof".
The bag seems to be well made. They used heavy materials and the stitching seems fine.
From reading other reviews it would seem that this bag is better suited to some bikes more than others. If you think it might work for you then go ahead and order it. Keep everything it comes with. Try it out and see if it works. If not, then just return it. Revzilla makes it easy.
Yes, I recommend this product.

These gloves run about a size small but since the Revzilla review mentioned this fact I went ahead and ordered a size large and they fit fine.
These gloves are comfortable and flow a lot of air. They have also come in handy a few times when I have needed to use my iphone while wearing them.
I am a fan of REV'IT. They make well designed and well manufactured riding gear in my opinion.
