I purchased these for the purpose of communicating rider to rider. I used ear plugs and my buddy did not. We could hear each other loud and clear on the highway and when sitting in traffic. My helmet blocked all of the wind noise, but his did not. This was fixed by either attaching his windshield to his bike or by placing foam and a wind guard under the chin area of his helmet: either solution took care of the wind noise in 80mph riding.
Very easy to activate communication, adjust volume, and place in standby. Really pleased with the large jog wheel.
These changed my ride experience- I don't want to ride without them now: we communicated problem drivers, road hazards and intent to change lanes or exit. I did not test this product with music or with a cell phone.

I've had my last Dowco for years outside in the northwest so I bought the same one for my second bike. The elastic holds up well and it's easy to put on and take off. Nice big "front" and "back" tags.

What size cover should I get for a 2009 KLR 650? I want something that will go all the way to the ground even if I add side bags and/or a trunk bag.
You wil need the X-large if you want it to touch the ground. I recommend the large though. It will cover your side bags, a windshield and will sit a couple inches off the ground which will let air circulate.

What size do you recommend for a Ducati Monster 696?
The "sport" size is your best fit. The medium will work too, but it was designed for higher handlebars and the front end of the cover will sit on the ground- not a big deal.
