 Bell Star Helmet - Solid
Bell Star Helmet - Solid
Bell Star Helmet The feature packed Star is equipped with Bells exclusive Velocity Flow Ventilation system with FlowAdjust, a revolutionary airflow management system that literally pulls air through the helmet with a natural flow engine, keeping the riders head cool and dry. The Stars 3Mode Shield with ClickRealease is simply the easiest shield to use and change. Finish it off with the Stars super stable aerodynamic signature that eliminates buffeting and lift and you have a helmet truly worthy of its heavenly moniker. Features Velocity Flow Ventilation with FlowAdjust Super stable aerodynamic signature resists buffeting and lift 3Mode shield for instant on bike shield adjustments and Click-Release Super lightweight Kevlar carbon fiber/fiberglass TriMatrix composite shell Contour cut cheek-pads for superior fit and comfort Nutra-Fog 2 superior anti-fog, anti-scratch and UV protected shield Removable and washable antibacterial/anti microbial interior comfort liner Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five year warranty Certification Snell M2010, DOT Note Helmet shown with optional tinted shield. Clear shield included. Bell Star Helmet Opinion The Bell Star Helmet certainly sits atop the Bell heap with regard to aggressive track level functionality and light weight. We found the fit to be intermediate oval and about a half size large compared to the RS-1 from Bell. The features of the Bell Star Helmet are very complete and it is always nice to have a Photochromic option to be added from a shield standpoint. The Star is going to most likely be too aggressive for any type of street riding other than spirited sportbiking. The wing and vent configuration are fully optimized for max performance in the tuck position.

I often ride 600+ miles in a day so I wanted a helmet that was both comfortable and safe. The Bell Star is noticeably light and easy to wear all day. At higher speeds the design smoothy cuts the air even during head checks. Add the Transitions shield and it makes the perfect all-day helmet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I often ride from early AM to late in the day and the Transitions shield automatically darkens as the day gets brighter. It's less fatiguing for my eyes and it's nice not to have to pack a second shield. You're really buying two shields without the hassle of having to change them. I like it and now that I've had one, I'll never go back.

I'm starting to ride longer distances and like to get on the road in the early AM hours. My grip heaters were nice but just not enough. After several mornings with near-freezing temperatures and fighting with liners and bulky gloves I decided to go electric. I replaced my heated vest with a full heated liner and the G3 gloves. Easy, low bulk, and best of all WARM. It's so nice to simply enjoy the ride without struggling to stay warm. I usually wear an XL but wanted these to fit just right so I measured my hand and followed the sizing guide and got L and they fit perfectly.
Yes, I recommend this product.
