I use these pants to commute to work daily, and they're fantastic. They definitely offer more of a slim-fit look, which is great if you're a young guy who still wants to look his age in Winter gear. I normally wear medium riding pants, but the large fit me much better. These are not over-pants, but in my case it was quicker to change into jeans after a ride then trying to fight in and out of the over-pants I used previously. The quilted liner keeps them from getting bunched up and allows them to slip on and off easily. My guess is these pants will be more popular with younger guys who like close-fitting clothes, and for these people I highly recommend them.

I bought both the AGV Telluride jacket and pants, and I've been extremely happy with them. This jacket has a nice quilted liner that slides easily over your base layers, and the outer shell of the jacket is waterproof so you don't have to deal with a separate waterproof liner. It does run slightly large, but I recommend buying your normal size to ensure proper sleeve lengths. The only cosmetic thing I dislike about the jacket is the scrunchy area in the back, but I always wear a backpack so it's not visible anyways. I tried several cold weather jackets before this one and they were nowhere near as comfortable and required strap adjustments before each ride. As a commuter I love the AGV Telluride because I can throw it on and go.

A fantastic race boot all around. The fit is very comfortable and there seems to be ample armor and venting. I ordered a size 11 but the boot I received says 10.5 and it fits perfectly. Easily comparably to some boots in the $400-500 range.

I'm around 6'2", 180lbs. I don't like billowy gear so I ordered a medium and crossed my fingers that it would work. The fit was perfect until I sat on my bike, and the collar would choke me when in riding position. Exchanged it for a large and the fit became billowy but the choking around the neck was still there, so I returned it. I really wish they had a medium-tall because it seemed like a great suit. Be prepared for discomfort if you're tall or ride a sport bike with a more aggressive stance because this suit will not want to bend forward.

Is there enough space inside of the pants to use them as an over-pant for all season commuting as well?
Definitely not, they are quite close fitting. It might be possible if you order 2 or 3 sizes up.

AGV Sport Telluride Waterproof Jacket - Does this jacket run true to size?
I received the Alpinestars Messenger WP Jacket (Item# 534564) as a Christmas gift. Even though it was bought a size larger (2X) than I normally wear in a jacket, it was still quite snug in the shoulder/underarm area.
I would like to replace it with the AGV Sport Telluride Waterproof Jacket and was wondering if this runs larger or smaller in comparison to the size chart.

It definitely runs about a half size to a full size larger. There are snaps to adjust the shoulders, as well.

Does this jacket have the capability to replace the foam back protector with a CE protector (Dainese G2, for example).
Yes, the foam is removable. As to whether another brand's CE protector will fit, I don't know but the sleeve seems like fairly generic shape.
