The Cayenne Pro's use an Exkin thermal liner, shown to have half the weight / thickness of the Dupont liner in the Sand Pants. The Cayenne Pro's use SAS-TEC armor, and the Sand uses Pro-Life and while both are CE level 2, the SAS-TEC armor is softer (only turning hard on impact) and more comfortable. The last major difference is the use of SuperFabric on the impact areas in the Cayenne Pro.

To put it simply,its very warm,comfy and don't worry about scratching the tank with the Superfabric.The area where your knees hug the tank is the same material as the rest of the pants so it won't damage anything.If buying for cold weather riding I'd say go up 1 size as the liners make it fit tighter than the size chart.If buying for riding in hot weather then follow the size chart as it seems to follow the size of the pants without liners.

Recently wore this at 7am during my MSF class,it was about 50-60 degrees out.Wherever the jacket covered,the wind didn't chill through at all and the SAS TEC is firm at first when cold but as your body heat goes up,the armor pieces form to your body and you will forget you have it in the jacket.It actually helped me sweat out a cold I had during the cold mornings in riding class.Only negative is that the top of the snap button liner poked my neck a bit but it wasn't much of a bother.

Works fast and better than i expected.Be sure to use this outside,the smell is strong enough to make you do a double-take.Only thorn in my side about this is that it left small white water marks on the dark areas of my Sidi ST Boots where the application was more concentrated.Not permanent or very noticeable but unexpected.Funny as the side of the can says that it may make light colors darker,but the opposite happened.

How long are the arms on an XL Cayenne Pro Jacket?
I have a 43/44" chest but I'm only 5'5" tall. I'm worried the arms will be to long and the elbow/forearm protection won't fall where it should.
