The case is well constructed and does a great job of holding my iPhone 4S. I do have to remove its current case though, but it's not a pain to do for me. Just be aware of that before buying.
On the issue of mounting:
I bought this to go on my '06 BMW F650GS. The handlebars are stock and have a narrow cross bar, which is where I needed to clamp the case. The cables from the thumb switch assemblies and the clamps from the stock hand guards prevented me from mounting the case directly to the large diameter handlebars.
I contacted Interphone and they suggested I try filling the remaining space with pipe insulation. I did that, but the insulation didn't grip the cross bar tightly enough so the mount just spun around. They're final solution was a note to return it to RevZilla.
I got creative and used a thicker, tackier rubber piece and was able to make it work. It was actually the end cap for a drainage pipe that I cut up.
Despite the mounting SNAFU, I think the case is solid. I can read the phone through the case easily and use the controls. Just plan ahead with respect to mounting before you buy.

As a first time bike owner in Southern California I needed one of everything. I had purchased the Khatmandu jacket and was looking for a good set of pants to keep me warm in the cooler morning weather. I settled on these overpants after looking at a bunch of options (both Firstgear and other makers). The fact that they matched the jackets was only one of the deciding factors.
From the protection standpoint hese pants have the D3O armor just like the jackets. The ability to reposition the pads is great and the large hook & loop area gives plenty of adjustments both up and down and side to side.
The pants are waterproof and have an elastic cuffed gaiter at the bottom of each leg to go around your boot. The exterior of each cuff has a velcro strap to close down the cuff, but it really needs to be longer. Although it closes adequately, I cannot close it enough to keep ALL the wind out.
The liner is quite comfy and easy to remove/replace. It provides quite a bit of extra warmth too. I have found with both the pants and jacket with liners installed that if you're not ready to go when you put on them on you're going to get pretty toasty pretty quick. It's a relief to get on the bike and get the air flowing.
The pants are easy slip on over my clothes too. They've got locking zippers on each leg to open them up wide enough to pull on over boots. Getting the elastic cuff over the boot's sloe is the hardest part, and it's not especially difficult. The gaiter at the top is plenty big to allow you to slip on over your pants (even with a belt on). I like the large metal hook and big button that secure the pants and the suspenders work great.
Attaching the pants to the jacket is easy with the included zippers. It really keeps your jacket from riding up on your back and leaving the small of your back exposed to the elements.
From a feature standpoint, there are pass-through pockets to get to your pants pockets, one pocket and zippered vents. I wish there was a second leg pocket though. The vents are fine, but there's really no where for the wind to go, so the amount of flow is limited. It certainly helps to have them open though when the temperature increases.
These are a great overpant for me. Firstgear really put some effort into making them work really well. The only negatives are picky things & mostly preference-related. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive overpant.
Revzilla was awesome as usual. I got my questions aswered before ordering and everything else proceeded as expected. Thanks!
