I bought this back pad to replace the thinner one in my Technik suit. I'm using the pad now in my Icon jacket for extra protection and to make the jacket a bit tighter on me. At this price I think everybody should own one.

I purchased the light smoked visor for my vector 2 helmet. The light smoked is just enough to keep your eyes from watering while riding directly into the sun. It's possiable to wear at night as well, although I would stick to lighted streets. It did not cast a reflection of myself like mirrored visors do.

I bought the size 42 after trying it on, and refusing to part with it. I'm 5'6.5", 35" chest, 31" jean size, and a 20" arm. The 42 fit perfect! And, when hunched over like the suit is designed for, it forms to your body. The suit becomes you. I'm preparing for track days this summer. By far more comfortable then my cheaper track pants and jacket zippered to it. I have not rode in this suit to rate it more then average durability and ventilation.
Not much for shin pads, but a good boot should cover that. I wore padded riding shorts underneath the suit for extra protection and fill in room. Plenty of room left over for a body back protector and chest protectors. Nice and slim in the shoulders.

Lets start with the size. Videos reall y do no justice for this pack. There is enough room to cram sweat pants and a sweat shirt inside. I rolled up a pair of 30x30 jeans and a hoodie and stuffed inside this pack. It is just the right size for a few school books for riding to school, who don't love that right?
This pack is just what you need and nothing more. I've rode with big bulky back packs that I could fit a weeks worth of cloths in, books all over the place, It is no fun.
This pack is ideal for an over night ride if you pack lite, to and from school, or blasting through the canyons or jungles. Not too sure on water proofing, but spray some water repelant on it for kicks.

These shorts offer padding in areas that most protective riding shorts don't. Tail bone, all around the butt, and hips. And for the skinny people there is padding all the way up over that boney pevis. Nothing more then padding though. I dont mind an extra layer of cloth for the pavement to chew throu.
I'm a size 30x30 and ordered the small. They fit perfect. I would so much rather buy a pair of these as opposed to buying kevlar blue jeans and putting all my trust in them alone. Or wear these under kevlar jeans. From the reviews I gathered kevlar jeans is nothing more then jeans themselves. These shorts turns all your blue jeans into "riding pants".
If your a skinny guy like me these shorts will give you a lil extra padding when that day comes.

This is my second pair of leather pants. I am 5'7'' 140 lbs. with no meat on my bones. I wear size 30x30 ordered size 30 and they fit on the money. I even have room for the alpinestar comp. protection riding shorts underneath. However, these pants do have removable hip pads and plenty of padding in the seat of the pants.
Padded shorts my a little to much. Would offer some extra warmth on chilly mornings or nights though in the perf areas. I have not rode in these pants yet due to 7 inches of snow that fell recently. I noticed the air difference though when I wore the pants outside with riding shorts under neath as apposed to only wearing boxers under them. From that I could tell ventilation in the perf version is right where you want it, In the crotch!
They fit nicely under my Cortech Latigo boot. Knee pads can be removed or adjusted. Plastic knee sliders should be fun. I hope this set up is good for beginner track days. From my investigation these pants and those boots should be the cheapest route to get on the track.

These boots fit like a pair of Nikes with race inspired protection features. They are comfortable to walk around in right out of the box. It would be hard to twist an ankle in these. Will I ever ride in tennis shoes again? No. My blue jean pants fit over the boot and even look like Nikes. Plenty of padding to keep your foot safe in a low side.
I have not rode in them yet so ignore the "air flow" rating and durability. The sizing chart was right on the money. I wear a 8.5 nikes and ordered size 42, fit like a charm.

I am 5'6" 140lbs. 30x30 jeans. The small fit like a gloove. I wore them today at 40 degrees with just jeans and longjohns underneth and it was alil chilly. The seat in the pants are slick and smooth, slide all over my bike seat, you better be holding on tight. They are not track pants so if the knee pads are droppy so be it. In a perfect world they could be a couple inches shorter. The padding in the hips are next to nothing, but is better than nothing. They should be great in summer with a pair of shorts and armour shorts to add more protection. I would imagine they could breath better then leather pants.
If your gonna ride, then RIDE! Hit it! You know your going too and these pants are ideal for a protective bottom peice. Forget about those so called kevlar bluejeans. Good quality, easy to take off without taking off my hiking boots. I look forward to putting many miles in these.

I bought the non-perf. I sweat in it with a military style sweat shirt and thermal shirt. Theres just enough room for an Iphone in the inside pocket. Not really noticeable when crouched down either. I wish I would of bought a size smaller before I hacked the plastic rain flaps over the shoulder zipper. They tended to catch my scala rider/communication device on the side of my helmet. Pavement surfing is not a fear, I would let somebody shoot me with a .22 in this coat.

Will Knox or Joe Rocket back armor fit in older Icon jackets?
I have a neo Daytona jacket from a few years ago and the pad shape is similar but I am not sure about the sizing.
Pretty sure it will. I'm using the knox pad in my icon accelernt jacket.

Does this have hip, thigh or other padding that is not mentioned in the description ???
If your still concerned they do have removable hip padding. As well as tail bone padding. The knee pads are pretty gnarly too. They are fully removable and adjustable also.
