This is a great product. Why? Because is works beautifully, exactly as stated by the manufacturer. The gloves heat up instantly.
The only thing I found that I felt was not really necessary is the adjustable pull string that can be used to tighten the glove more tightly around the wrist. I really couldn't see much use for it and the adjuster just gets in the way.
I originally ordered the LARGE, but had to return them for the MEDIUM...even though I used the measuring chart. As such, I'd recommend ordering the next smaller size from what the measuring guide suggests.
Definitely would recommend these for anyone who wants to ride in colder weather, and still keep your hands and fingers nice and toasty!
One side note...I had a problem with one of the gloves not heating as much as the other. I contacted Gerbing's to get a warranty replacement, but they were completely worthless in helping me out!
Instead, they instructed me to send the gloves back to Revzilla, who would then ship the gloves back to Gerbing's for repair, followed by Gerbing's shipping them back to Revzilla, who would then ship them back to me!
The entire process would have taken 4-6 weeks! By then, I probably wouldn't need them anyway as the Winter cold would have been over for the season!
I contacted Revzilla and explained to their Customer Service rep what was going on and what Gerbing's told me I HAD to do.
Instead of doing what Gerbing's wanted, he had me order a replacement pair and told me to ship the defective pair back to them...even emailing me a prepaid return shipping label!
Once received, Revzilla gave me a full refund! The replacement pair showed up at my door just two days after placing the order!
This is the kind of customer service that's missing from just about every on-line retailer other than Amazon.
Revzilla is a far better place to order Gerbing's products than from the factory itself (who also sells directly at the exact same prices).
Summation: Gerbing's products...GREAT! Dealing directly with Gerbing's...YUCK! Dealing with Revzilla ...PERFECT!

can I plug into cigarette lighter port and use the heated gloves
I have a port on my handlebars. can I adapt the gloves to plug into the port instead of going to the battery?
YES...but you'll need Gerbing's 12 Volt DC Plug Adapter. They DO NOT suggest using your Battery Tender connector as the wire gauge is not sufficient for the power draw of the heated items. The Battery Tender only sends less than 2 amps to the battery...the heated items draw much than that.

do these gloves have heat on the palm side?
YES...they heat on ALL sides and around EACH finger!
