I am 5'-4" and typically wear Levi's 29W-30L.
I ordered the 28W-34L in these jeans because the Lombard 30W-L28 did not fit right. The Lombard 30W fit like a 33W. So I tried this one with a 28W.
The Nelson 28W was snug with the hip armor. The jean material seems to have a stretch fabric in it too.
The main reason I returned the jeans was the knee armor would not seat on my knee. The top of armor sits below the bottom of my knee. Not acceptable for safety.
For expensive as these jeans are the knee armor should have some adjustability on height.
I felt the jean material was really nice but also have some concerns for its abraisian durability.

Do not buy this piece of junk. If I could return it for refund I would but it used because I tried clean my chain with it.
There is a small tube that connects the spray can to the plastic housing. The tube will not stay in place when you press the button to spray. It pops our everytime. Fine... so I use some tape to hold the tube in place.
OK. so now the cleaner flowing into the plastic contracption finally. So I start spinning the rear wheel to move the chain through the bristles and cleaner. Pretty much nothing got cleaned.
I honestly think muc-off should refund my money for such a piece junk.
This product doesn't even desreve 1 star or 1 bar bang for a buck.
A total waste of my $60.
I recommend don't buy and recommend revzilla should pull from inventory and not even sell it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I'm 5'-4", 128lbs. Normal Jean size: Waist 29, Length 29-30
I have a hard time finding moto riding pants for my build.
These are very nice riding jeans unfortunately they did not fit me well. Unfortunately they do not come is waist size 29. Based on the way the 30 fit me, I think the 28 will be too small.
The pant legs were baggy for me and there was no way I could have gotten the knee armor in the right place. Also the velcro is limited on how the hip armor attaches. It just seems it could separate easily.
If the jeans had fit perfectly I would have kept them but I decided to return them.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Overall I like the look of the sneaker. It has a classic look to it and great details.
In terms of protection, it is a step above a normal sneaker like a converse chuck taylor. But the protection will not compare to a real riding shoe/boot.
I have a pair of the Joey WP and was involved in an accident with them. I got a bad bruise on my lower shin. Had I been wearing my typical riding boots the injury on my lower shin wouldn't have occured. I did not have any injuries or abrasions to my feet so maybe the joey WP shoe did perform well.
The Joey vs the Joey WP. The Joey WP is made of a thicker material that has suede feel to it. The Joey is canvas. I feel the Joey WP is better in terms of abrasion durability.
I will only use the Joey non-water proof shoes as a sneaker only. Expensive for a sneaker but they are a very comfortable.

The sneaker has great detail and style. Very comfortable out of the box and to wear all day. I can't do a review on the waterproof aspect of the shoe yet. And even though I haven't tested them in a crash situation, I honestly would have to say the shoe won't do much in terms of protection or abrasion resistance.
I think astars is on the right track with this shoe. Maybe do the same style but in a gore-tex leather. I doubt that would compromise the comfort but it would help for abrasion. More protection at the ankle would be good too.
Would I recommend the shoe? For general use, yes. For a casual ride, maybe. If you want piece of mind protection, no. To each his own though. Each rider makes their own decision on what level of protection to wear.
I'm still keeping the shoes because I like the style and comfort but they are my last choice for a ride.
I was hoping the shoe would be better than the dainese technical sneaker but they are pretty much the same. I do like the dainese quick lace system better. With this system the laces can't come untied by accident.
One more thing, the description above says the shoes come with a second set of high viz laces, but my order never came with the second pair of laces. Not sure if the description is right or wrong.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: the fit is nice, slim and athletic which is what I was looking for so it wasn't bulky under my riding jacket.
It keeps me warm and cuts down wind but that compromises breath ability.
Astars quality is in the jacket and I feel this jacket wil last for seasons.
I bought the small. I wear a 46 or 48 ridin jacket depending on the cut. I mostly wear a 46. I am 5'4" and 130lbs.
The only con for me is the bottom of the jacket sits right at the waistline. So when you are in the tuck position the back of the jacket will ride up and you get lower back exposure if you have low waist pants on. A longer tail at the back would make this jacket perfect. I have a mountain bike jacket similar to this astars mid layer and it has a longer tail portion which is great when mountain biking.
I do recommend this jacket. I overcome the lower back issue with a long tucked in base layer and that does the trick.

Even though I returned these pants I hope my review will be of help to a future buyer.
I am 5'-4", 130lbs. My jeans size is 30W 29L regular fit.
Pros:
1) The adjustable pant length is an awesome feature. I was able to adjust the pants to a reasonable length size since most motorcycle pants come in one length. There are three options for the length. either totally remove the zippered cuff or zip it into two different locations at the bottom of the pant.
2) Three positions for knee armor. I was able to place the armor correct for my proportion.
3) The pants material has a good feel to them.
4) Removable thigh warmer.
5) Reflective piping.
Cons
1) While the waist and length were a good fit for me, the pant legs have a more of a relaxed fit. The revzilla video states that the pants have a more euro slim fit but I did not find this to be the case when I was wearing them. This baggy feel was the only reason I returned the pants. I prefer a more tailored fit to my gear.
2) While the fabric was nice, I did not feel like the pants would have great abrasion durability in a slide This was not a deal breaker for me but if this was of better quality i might have considered keeping the pants and dealt with the relaxed fit.
I would recommend these pants based on the features. Revzilla has a great return policy so they are worth ordering to see if they fit perfectly.

Astars gloves seem to fit my hands just right. I own and have owned a number of Astars gloves: S-1, SP-1, SP-2, octane moto, storm rider, and the 365.
I have been using the 365 for about year and half. It took a couple of months to break them into perfection but after all this time they still look new.
Under this same time frame and similar usage the SP-1 and SP-2 gloves were shot.
The 365 glove is definitely not a warm glove by any means. The storm rider is a bit warmer but the storm rider glove does not fit snug and doesn't a provide a good feel for the controls.
I live in California and it gets colder than one would think out here and we have a short rainy season too. This glove has performed great the times I have been caught in the rain. I installed heated grips to beat the cold and the heat transfers through the gloves nicely.
Although pricey, I recommend the gloves because in my case they look sporty, they fit great, they provide great feel for the controls, and are surprisingly durable. I actually have a back up pair stashed away that I honestly thought I would have started using by now. I'm thinking of buying a third pair just in case Astars discontinues them.
