SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. SC-1/11 fits Women's Turbine Jacket SC-1/12 fits REV'IT! Fits my Joe Rocket Radar, Blaster 4.0, and Triumph Steve McQueen Classic jackets. Despite being about or more than twice as thick as the stock hard foam pad that the Joe Rockets come with, the SAS-TEC protector is much more malleable and makes the jackets fit even better, especially in a tuck where the protector's "wings" won't be pulling back on your sleeves. It has some big holes in it which I'm sure are for structural purposes but they serve for a bit of ventilation.
Whether or not I'll ever put it to use, its well worth its price for the safety of mind and comfort alone.

RevZilla Staff Premium T-Shirt Lovingly concocted in 2007 and named El Moto Diablo for its geared and devlish lines, the RevZilla Staff Tee Shirt has been part of our lineup from the beginning. It's also the same blue shirt in every video that Anthony has been rocking since day one of RevZillaTV on Youtube. People love to point out that Anthony doesn't ever change his clothes. I guess when it works you stick with it. The tee is screen printed on a high thread-count blank that is anything but one of those throw away tees you get free at the ball game. We wear tees a lot - almost every day - and we are very particular about how they fit, feel and hold up wash after wash. Sizing is true to size, if anything they run a hair on the small side. Show your love for TeamZilla. Make a statement. Boom.

Fits close to true to size and surprisingly comfortable. The purple one is, in fact, actually blue. Design and finish is even nicer in person.
Cons: did not not make my bike faster

Installed on my Tiger 800XC relatively easily with no brake/clutch/throttle line replacing or rerouting. Made both my seating and standing positions much more comfortable for my 6'3 short-armed body.
The bad: the bolts felt very soft in my hands and my suspicions were confirmed when one of the bolts stripped before even reaching the minimum torque spec (18 ft-lb) for it.
Doesn't offer a lot of customization on the Tiger in particular, since the risers themselves block off the stock clamp bolts in most positions.
Would buy again if I had to.

Doesn't cost any more than a standard face shield and only a dollar more than a pinlock one, so there's almost no reason to not get one of these. The flat face shield and posts don't change or skew noise, aerodynamics, or vision and look cool even if you don't use them.

A must have for anyone that rides year round or on cool mornings and nights. Completely keeps the majority of the CWF-1 from fogging.
Adds a bit of reflection to the shield so on sunny days you'll catch more of a glimpse of your own face than if you didn't have the lens in. Also causes you to see doubles of bright light sources, which is a slight nuisance especially in city traffic at night.
Warps sight an almost unnoticeable amount if you're looking through the bottom of your helmet, but you can't tell when you have it on.

Fit

Being the oddly proportioned, particularly sweaty, and safety-conscious person I am makes it hard for me to choose riding jackets but this one is ideal in just about every aspect for me. I've ridden in it up to a high of 118 Fahrenheit this summer, and while the scorching hot air was burning my eyes and drying my respiratory system my body was completely cool as long as I was moving. Combined with a sweat wicking underlayer this jacket is as close to air conditioning as you're going to get without going down to a less protective full mesh jacket.
When it came new out of the Revzilla shipping box it had a strong funk to it which wore off after a couple of weeks of use and a cleaning. The overall look and finish is much better than the example photos would imply. I did have to clean up a bit of stray glue from the patches but otherwise it looks great.
Despite supposedly being American fit, I feel it to be a bit closer to a European sport fit though it does stretch and break in quite an amount. I have a long and wide torso but t-rex arms and after the break in period it fits comfortably even while slouching on the bike or in a full tuck. I wish it had a tall size as it would've been perfect. I had to sew the jacket's 8 inch zipper's negative onto my pants as an extension because the pants' normal zipper was far too low for this jacket to connect to without choking me and pulling the entire inner mesh liner down. The belt loops work well to keep you from exposing your backside while riding.
Though I haven't had to test out the leather's abrasion resistance qualities, it feels slightly thin and not as smooth as some other Joe Rocket jackets I've owned. Conditioning it improved the leather's feel greatly but it still has an odd texture to it. The leather covers just about any part of the jacket you would expect to slide on without compromising ventilation.
The included removable windproof liner is comfortable by itself, but it adds considerable bulk to the inside of the jacket, enough to make it almost unbearable to wear in for the jacket size I got (tightest fit possible for the best protection). The elbows and back of the liner have a vented silk-ish screen so you're not sitting in any body moisture. I wouldn't wear it in near-freezing temperatures but it works fine in California climates.
The bad: I would have appreciated full leather cuffs, as the mesh on the lower sleeves and wrist can complicate putting on lined gauntlets. It doesn't have a velcro or button fastener on the wrist so sometimes the end of the zipper will get caught while putting on gloves. The mesh lining along one of the underarms tore open on me, likely while I was taking the jacket off as it was an extremely tight fit at purchase. The shoulder air intakes don't seem to do a whole lot regardless of riding position, but the mesh that runs up to the shoulders compensate for it. Lastly, the belt loops could've been done away with in favor of a 360 degree zipper in my opinion.
I recommend this to anyone that rides in any hot weather, doesn't want to skimp on crash protection, and wants amazing value for their money.

A tank bag is a must have for any commuter and this is a great choice without having to spend too much. It fits a wallet, phone, music player, and garage remote with some room to spare for keys or registration papers. The clear pocket is a bit too small for today's ever-growing smartphones but it'll still fit most media players just fine. The bag feels well constructed and the magnets hold very well, but aren't a hassle to adjust or remove once the bag is on your tank. The instructions say to secure the bag to the triple tree with the included straps but I've found the magnets don't budge at all and that step is not necessary.
My one complaint is that the side of the bag meant to be facing you has exposed velcro when it doesn't have its strap extension connected, which will fray some mesh or textile that comes into contact with it if you happen to tuck onto the tank. The velcro also has some exposed loose stitching on it which detracts from the overall look of the bag. I've found that rotating the bag backwards fixes this issue, as well as increasing stick to the tank if it has a tank pad in the way of the single magnet side.
Highly recommended for anyone, especially if you're tired of mid-ride pat downs to make sure your wallet and phone are still in your pockets.

Not a lot to say about them. They look good, install easily with some blue thread lock, and are a must have for any bike that takes swingarm spools. Didn't have to use the included spacers.

Had the unfortunate opportunity to put these to the test only 2 days after wearing them. I got hit from behind and dropped my bike on my foot. Knees were bruised but my ankles and toes were just fine.
Doesn't have a whole lot of features, but it does flow air really well. I've ridden in almost 100F weather and I get noticeable flow through my feet, although you have to wear slightly shorter jeans or tuck them in to get some of the benefits.
Very low profile. You can hardly tell they're riding boots until you take a good long look at them.
They're very comfortable to walk in after a short break in period, but don't seem to lose much of their stiff ankle protection in the process.
Though I would've appreciated some toe sliders for days when I'm feeling a bit sportier, they're perfect dry-weather commuter boots.

My main complaint is that the instructions included with the kit were for a ZX6R which has a slightly different installation process due to having a different storage box from the Z1000. ZX6R installation consisted of removing the storage box from above and installing the kit from there. The Z1000's box is removed from below, so you have to remove the bottom fairing to install.
The kit itself doesn't look bad. Would've preferred a black color to the brushed aluminum finish it has. Feels pretty durable. The back plate to cover up some of the OEM fender's mounting holes is optional but fits the bike's lines pretty well. The edges of the back plate don't screw in, so they do hang a bit from the bike which leaves some exposed sharp edges unless you adhere or screw them to the fairing.
Some optional drilling is recommended to pass signal wires through. The generic turn signals that are included with it have two filaments, so I ended up using them on the front to have some new running lights. Unfortunately the plastic stem of one of the signals was cracked so I had to cement it together to be able to install it securely.
The license plate light comes with some mounting hardware, though it's not used on the Z1000 since it slips right in and is held in place by the storage box. The light itself is a bulb and feels highly exposed, and leaves some desire for a more durable LED light instead.
The package overall felt slightly overpriced, but does what it advertises.
