1.) These boots run a little large in my opinion. They only come in whole sizes and I wear a 6.5 and I was comfortable in a size 6 with toe-wiggle room. (However, if you have a wide foot I do suggest you go to a 7.)
2.) I don't feel like I am wearing high heels! The footbed is very padded and comfortable feeling.
3.) These shoes have great grip and traction at the bottom. The sole is nice and flexible without needing too much breaking in.
4.) The ankles are VERY stiff. Walking in them is not bad, however, going down stairs makes it awkward.
5.) I don't have large calves but I can see how these would easily be adjusted for someone that does.
6.) I had to adjust the shift lever on my bike so my toebox would fit underneath, but it's just a minor adjustment, no biggie.
7.) Overall: I am happy with the design of this boot! I am not too crazy about the style but it's not too bad. Definitely worth the purchase, ladies!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was in a high side crash on 11/11/12. My helmet held up well but am a little concerned as the face shield flew off. I went into woods and thankfully missed trees but landed in bushes. I shattered my scapula and have a minor concussion. Upon inspection of the inside of the helmet it seemed to hold up well however I doubt it would have had I hit the street or a tree. Some scrapes on my face from the bushes since the shield came off but thankfully I had motorcycle sunglasses on and they protected my eyes. Had the helmet since 4/2012. Very noisy, shakes a lot at speeds 70+ mph. Pump is nice feature but gives me a faceache after a long ride. Hard to see out the peripheral when turning my head to change lanes. Never used the drop shield as I disabled it to install an intercom attachment. I would not buy this again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Are these true to size?

Since there aren't half sizes, I'm curious if these run small/large or true to size? I don't want to order up and then have a boot which is unwearably large (as I'm clumsy enough without the help of ill-fitting shoes).

Thanks!!
Hi Gloria, I just did a review on the sizing, but to answer your question, I wear a regular width 6.5 shoe and I tried on both the 6 and the 7. I went with the size 6 because it fit perfectly snug and gave me toe wiggle room. I wear my boots with regular athletic socks for sneakers, not super thick socks, and the 6 fit me just fine. Since they are snug, if I had a wider foot, I would have probably gone with a size 7.

I am in between a size small and a size medium for this helmet, which one do I purchase?

I would suggest a small. The pads will eventually thin and mold to your face. Medium might be too loose to protect but at least the cheek pads pump up to help with fitting.
