I studied the reviews and videos prior to getting this tire. After placing my order it shipped to me in three business days. Once installed I was so impressed with how much more nimble and comfortable my fz6r had become compared to the factory installed tires. I got the Road Pilot 3's primarily for touring and needed long tread life with excellent wet control and handling. When riding in wet conditions I was truly impressed. Very good grip keeps my confidence high and riding in even wet conditions is a joy. Price is worth it because the tire is worth it, just check the reviews.

These tires surprised me right off the bat. My order came in 3 business days with free shipping! Got em installed and the traction is a tremendous difference from my stock Dunlop roadsmarts. My fz6r feels nimbler and I have more confidence making aggressive turns. Riding in the wet is much safer as I am more confident which is quite nice and is actually what drew me to these tires along with tread life. The price is worth it. Research reviews of the tire online and from everyday folks on youtube.

Is there a "B Model" for the PR3 190 tire?
I used to use the PR2 'B Model' on my K1200GT. Now, with my K1600GT I have the Metzeler Z8 OEM tire, but would like to switch to the Pilot Road 3 (190/55-17). Unfortunately, it appears as if there is no 'B Model' (heavier Touring bikes) in this tire? Can you confirm or set me straight?! :)
Michelin has a Pilot Road 3 Trail tire. Same look, tougher compound for heavier, touring, two up, riding.
