The Roadster V3 is a performance boot specifically designed for aggressive roadster riders. Maximum Stability Thanks to the 360 degree ankle protection cockpit, which combines TPU molds and inner foam inserts, this boot offers improved stability as well as lateral impact protection. Impact Protection Using TPU inserts on the medial and lateral ankle level and toe box inserts in the forefoot, for increased protection in the event of a crash. Improved Traction Due to the outsole being derived from the PUMA 1000 V3 Racing boot, the traction has been improved for maximum grip.

A bit on the expensive end for what it's worth, but it's a good pair of boots. Got in an accident in the past month and my feet would have been smashed if not for these boots. I got out in one piece with nothing but a few bruises. It looks good and feels good. I rode out in the rain more than a few times and the boots have kept my feet dry, even my socks didn't get wet, I'm talking heavy rain! During the summer, it gets a bit hot, but not enough for me to have to take it off. I'd assume it's decent for cold weather riding as well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

would my jeans fit over these?
Depends on what jeans you wear. If you're wearing relaxed or boot cut pants, they'll probably fit. I don't know for sure if they'd fit with straight jeans, but I know they won't fit with skinnies or slims.
