I bought the transition shield with the helmet and barely got a month's use out of it. The tint is too light to provide sufficient sun protection and doesn't work as well when the sun is behind you.
I didn't use anything except water and a cloth to wipe off dirt and it began fogging up in the cooler weather.
Overall, way too much money was spent on a product that didn't meet half the expectations set by the ads.
No, I do not recommend this product.

So, the Gen4 Kawi ZX10R does come with a steering dampener... well, what LOOKS like a steering dampener, but is nothing more than a silver/grey mounted display for Ohlins brand logo. As a result of the OEM dampener, I was involved in a serious wreck that ended with a broken arm and started with a tank slapper at ~75mph.
The first thing I ordered and had installed, even before the bike was running again, was the GPR V4 Stabiliser and wow, what a difference it made. I started by overcompensating as a result of my previous experience and quickly realised what a steering dampener is SUPPOSED to feel like. Luckily, with the huge dial on the front and a painfully obvious number system, I loosened it up mid-turn and carried on my ride. I'm still working on finding that perfect balance, but since most of my riding is commuting, I keep it a little on the firmer side. If it's good enough for Marquez, it's definitely good enough for me.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pretty much as the title states. They arrived yesterday and I haven't had the opportunity to ride in them yet, however, after trying them on, the waist is perfectly true to size, but the inseam is LONG. Even wearing boots, there is still a lot of excess material bunched up and trailing on the floor. Guaranteed, I'll be having them hemmed.
As for the stretch panels, simply standing in my apartment, I could feel how much cooler they were going to be. They provide a definite airflow and will be a huge help on a Summer ride keeping the crotch area cool.
Yes, I recommend this product.

As my title states, I've experienced every aspect of this rather exceptional lid. I'll start with the Creature Comforts first, though.
The Star moves air. I tried it on as soon as it arrived and could feel the breeze just by walking around in my apartment. The trade off to such large, well-placed vents is a pretty high level of wind noise whilst riding. I usually ride with ear plugs due to a loud aftermarket exhaust, but I can see how that might be offputting to some.
Unfortunately, as most reviews have stated, it does run about a full size too big. If you normally wear a size Large, order a Medium. If you wear Medium, order a Small, etc.
The construction is solid and nothing feels cheap about it. It's snug around my entire cranium without any pressure points and the lining makes wearing it a pleasurable experience every time I put it on. Not to mention the simple addition of the magnetic clasp makes securing the strap whilst wearing gloves relatively simple.
Now, for my experience: I wrecked at the track with this piece of life saving gear on my head. Due to another rider leaking oil, I lowsided at around 65mph in the middle of a turn. I initially hit pavement before sliding off into what can only be described as a field. I was carried off to hospital with a broken left arm and fractured ribs. What about the helmet? At one point, I was sliding face-down and the face shield was ripped off, prompting the need for a replacement, but that's it. A little scuffing on the chin bar is the only damage.
It does what it's supposed to and throws in an amazing level of comfort on top. I highly recommend the Bell Star, carbon fiber to anyone and everyone.

Installation was fairly easy. Just a matter of taking out some bolts and switching screens. Other than that, it deflects wind a whole lot better than the OEM one, resulting in less fatigue after long rides and making head checks smoother and easier. Not to mention the sleek, gloss black look it adds to an already good-looking bike.

I looked into these gloves after seeing them recommended by RevZilla. I haven't been disappointed. I wear a medium in every other glove and these are no exception. They're comfortable, fit perfectly and feel great.
I've only had one ride with them in the 30*F range and my hands felt fine. None of that numb fingertip feeling I'd become so accustomed to with other gloves that had cost less. The GoreTex becomes really obvious at highway speeds when you'll be able to feel its temperature regulating, breathing ability. Despite the obvious cold, my hands didn't freeze, nor did they overheat as they've done in more airtight material.
Overall, these are amazing gloves that I'd recommend to anyone who lives in anything less than snow, or where heated gear is mandatory.
Yes, I recommend this product.

When I first got these shoes, they were amazing. The toe pad aided my shifting, the ankle padding kept me comfortable, the strap kept my laces out the way and the style meant I could walk around without having to strap on boots every time I rode.
That was then.
I've had the Run With The Bulls Shoes for about 4 months and the sole has worn away to almost nothing. It was hardly there to begin with, as I noticed on one 40min ride and had to continuously move my feet around out of discomfort. I've all but stopped wearing them on anything beyond a short ride down the street.
Take the time to find something a little more durable if you're planning on riding for a while.

The finish on this product is excellent. It looks awesome and still retains its shine 4 months after I bought it. It is a little on the heavier side, so long rides are a little tiring without taking it off on a few stops.
The ventilation works fairly well in Texas heat and I could feel the air moving over my head in 90*F+ temperatures and high humidity. The aerodynamics are well designed and I experience very little to no head wobble, even at highway speeds and above, to include head checks. You may notice, however, that once you hit that 100mph+ range, the helmet tends to compress to your face. I'm not sure whether it's a result of the padding, or the vents, but this is a pretty loud helmet. I get a lot of wind noise and occasional whistling, so it clearly, isn't a race helmet, but for short rides, or commutes, it serves its purpose well.
The clear visor it came with held up well and switching to the silver tint was more of a hassle than it should have been. The system is simple to operate, but I may have obtained one that wasn't machined properly as the left side stuck and wouldn't unlock with anything other than what felt like unnecessary force. The silver reflective face shield looks awesome, but clearly (no pun intended) isn't scratch resistant.
The quick release chin strap is by far my favourite feature and can be operated quickly and easily, even with one hand whilst you're riding, if need be.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this helmet as an entry-level lid for a reasonable price and decent quality. The few issues I had were minor and temporary and easy to overlook.
Yes, I recommend this product.

In Houston TX, the weather rarely drops below the 45-50. That said, these gloves have held up fairly well at highway speeds. The extra lining makes handling a little different and my fingertips felt a little cold (read: freezing) at "65" mph, but my bike control never wavered. They're extremely comfortable and work as well as they can, given that they're not heated. I'd recommend them to anyone in the southern States, or where ever it doesn't snow.
