How does the GP-1 fit compared to the GR-S?
Different entry and closure system entirely, I was wondering about how this boot will fit compared to the GR-S. The GR-S was not only sized for the typically wider American last (!), but also accommodates a larger circumference calf. These features made the GR-S a very comfortable boot for me. Also, my GR-S are labeled US size 10 and Euro size 44-1/2 (really, that's what the label indicates). I wear an 11 street shoe, but the 10 fit me perfectly. OK - back to my original question: will these new GP-1 fit in the same way?
The GR-S have proven very durable and crash resistant at the track, with no injury to date in several shunts. I'd love to be able to just order up another pair! I too was looking at the Dainese Torque line as a replacement, but hope that the GP-1 will be comparable fit to the GR-S.
Any insight on fit that anyone can offer, would be welcome.
