Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat BMW R1200 GS / Adventure The Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat is a new, hybrid seat design that combines Saddlemen's exclusive elements of a GEL comfort layer and progressive density foam with a GEL-Channel design to provide Adventure and Dual Sport riders with unparalleled comfort and control. Rugged marine-grade synthetic suede resists the elements while providing the proper balance of grip and comfort under the rider's posterior. Choose either Rider Seat Only, or 2-Piece Seat for both rider and passenger - the 2-Piece Seat features a pillion section covered with high-tech gripper material to help hold cargo in place and is shaped to match the rear rack's height for simplified cargo packing. Integrated bag or cargo mounting points on the pillion match Saddlemen Adventure PACK bags or use them to secure your own load. The 2-Piece R1200GS Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat has separate front and back seats. Also available as an optional heated version that warms the rider's section (front seat only) with 5-levels of heat, operated by remote control, making this seat the dual-purpose saddle you need to circumnavigate the globe. Note Image is for reference only, actual seat may vary slightly.

I got this seat because my tail bone was aching after long rides on my R1200GS. In that regard, it works well, relieving the pressure on my tailbone. But other than that, I'm not that happy with it. It's actually a fairly hard seat, and I have rode several thousand miles on it, hoping it would break in and soften up, but it really hasn't. When you combine the channel in the middle, with the fact that it is a bit more narrow than the stock seat, you end up sitting on what feels like two hard rails. This is definitely not a long distance, in the saddle, seat. Luckily I spend as much time as I can standing on the pegs, thus have learned to deal with its hardness. The stock seat is actually more cushioning, and being bigger, it disperses your weight out over a larger area. The suede covering also retains moisture a lot more than the stock seat. If it left out in the rain, getting it dry takes some time. If you're riding in the rain, it seems to draw in the rain and hold it there, like sitting on a damp sponge. It is well constructed, sturdy and fits well.

Outstanding pant, extremely comfortable. As Anthony said, it's good for the cooler temps. Baggy enough for knee armor. Very well made, material is tough but not irritating to the skin. Lots of stretch panels. Great Quality.

 Held Warm N Dry Gloves
Held Warm N Dry Gloves
The Held Warm N Dry Glove is the choice for cold and wet weather riding. With Superfabric, reinforced knuckles, and high quality leather these comfortable gloves do not compromise protection! The Warm N Dry Gloves also work great with heated grips! The palm is thin enough to allow good feel for the controls and allow the grip heaters to warm your hands, while the lightly insulated back helps to hold in the heat and protect your hands from cold rain and windchill. I've taken these on several rides, with temps down to 35 F. My BMW GSA has heated grips, and I'm glad. These gloves are nowhere near as warm as I thought they would be for $200. The pros are that the palm is fairly thin, which allows you to feel the heated grips, and that they are a good fitting and comfortable. They are a good cool weather glove, but not cold.
