Use these 40mm speakers in a Modular helmet. Got the Q3 to use on BMW Lt to mainly hear GPS and cell bluetooth. Really like the FM but decided to try the helmet with my ZX14 to see if it could be heard over the wind noise. No problem. Was very impressed because I use the GPS on it as well and now I can have music.

Didn't take 30 minutes to install my new slip ons. I mainly wanted them for the look and I wanted a little more sound but not much. I was hoping it didn't take away from the torque or make it blubberey since wasn't using a tuning system. I was pleased in every way. It has a slightly throatier sound at about 3000 rpms and actually has a little more torque there also even though it didn't need it. Have absolutely no regrets.
