I've had this jacket for a few weeks now riding in Las Vegas temperatures of 100+ degrees F. The air flow is really good which is exactly what I needed. It looks and feels great. The fit is more of a sport fit so that's probably the only thing you want to consider. The leather is in the right places and seems like it would hold up well in a crash. There is really nothing I don't like about this jacket. The collar was a bit annonying for a few days. It felt pretty loose and comfortable in a standing position. When you're riding, the wind can catch the jacket and bring it back against your throat a bit, but the collar has loosed up over time and I don't really notice that at all anymore. This is a really good jacket if you live in a hot place.

I previously bought the Dainese Xantum D-Dry jacket and bought these Dainese Tomsk D-Dry pants to go with it. The pants are very nice. I've ridden down into the low 30s with just these pants and the liner that comes with it and stayed warm. Put on your own thermals and you're good for pretty much anything. In the few rain storms I've ridden in, the pants have worked very well and have kept me completely dry. The pants are very comfortable, offer good knee and shin protection and the adjustable waist band is a nice feature. Also, an added touch is that the swishy sound they make when you walk is minimal and not overly loud like other pants I've owned that used to drive me crazy.

After looking at quite a few jackets, I decided on the Dainese Xantum D-Dry. So far, this has been an excellent jacket and has held up very well in colder temperatures down to low 30s F and has kept me dry in a few rain storms. I paired this jacket with Dainese Tomsk D-Dry pants and the combination is very good. The jacket is very comfortable, warm and looks really good in person. The fit is pretty sporty, not a race fit, but not big and bulky either.

I usually wear a size 11 so I ordered the 44 which fit tight and a little small. I swapped those out for a size 45 which fit perfect. The shoes are a little stiff where the shift protector meets the nylon on top of the shoe and will rub the top of your foot for a day or so, but they loosened up nicely after a few days and are very comfortable. The jersey shoe liner is very nice and I've worn these shoes around all day with no problem. The style is great, protection is good and the airflow is surprisingly good too. I would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a good, comfortable riding shoe that offers good protection. If you have really wide feet, you might want to look at something else though. Great shoes!

I got the Ronin in tobacco color. I'm 6'1" 205lbs and got the XL. It doesn't fit as snug as what is shown in the video. I still have room for a hoodie even after adding the shoulder and elbow armor which is good. A large would have been too tight for sure. The jacket looks amazing in person. In the pictures it looks a little more rough and worn, but not so in person. The quality looks great. It is a very comfortable jacket and the airflow through the perforated sleeves is pretty good. I've worn it at 45 degrees F with just a t-shirt and dress shirt underneath and it was fine. It should do pretty well in hotter weather too. Overall this is an outstanding jacket with plenty of pockets and great design.

I have the Bell RS-1 helmet and just bought this photochromatic shield. It works great. During the night, it is clear and in the bright sun it gets so dark you cannot see my face from outside. Since I commute early in the morning when it is dark and come back home in the afternoon sun, this shield is perfect.

Bell RS-1 Helmet - Solid Colors The all-new Bell RS-1 Solid Helmet bridges the gap between the top-of-the-line Bell Star and the value-minded Vortex with an amazing blend of mid-line price and high-end performance. Starting with a lightweight Kevlar/fiberglass composite shell, the RS-1 brings it with Bells vaunted Velocity Flow Ventilation system providing cool comfort, a super stable aerodynamic profile keeping the helmet still at speed, and the versatile Click Release shield system for fast, easy shield swapsnot to mention an amazing variety of tint and coating choices. I bought this full face helmet based on other reviews and Revzilla's helmet overview video and it was a great buy. I used the size chart and it was accurate for me. A medium fit me perfect. I typically ride with a half-shell helmet, but winter is nearly here so I bought this full face helmet to ride year round. The helmet is super quiet, especially if you are used to half helmets like me, ventilation is good, the interior lining is very comfortable and removable. The magnetic strap is a nice touch that comes in handy too and it is Snell certified. It really is a great helmet. I would definitely recommend this helmet for anyone looking for a good full face helmet. I'm getting the photochromatic shield next.
