This shield is great for the low price you pay. Great for day riding as it is quite dark. I do not recommend it for night riding unless you are in a heavily lighted area. Night commutes on low lit freeways is difficult and you will be unable to read signs without use of your brights.
Warning: Scratches very easy, take caution when storing and cleaning. Use proper cleaning equipment.

I've never owned a "Speed and Strength" product. What, in your opinion, are the pros and cons of these products?

S&S gear, in my opinion, is you run of the mill mid-grade gear. A few pros about their jackets are that the armor is not just C.E. but KNOX C.E. approved. Knox is known for being high quality and exceeding C.E. requirements. Another pro is obviously the price. S&S jackets are very plentiful and can be found at most stores for a cheap price. As for cons, there is a bit of "get what you pay for" with these jackets. The stitching is not the highest of quality, water resistance is not that reliable, and I personally wouldn't trust their helmets. Something I consider a con, yet some do not, is their designs. S&S gear SCREAMS attention. I personally do not care for that.

Thats just my 2 cents.
