Haven't actually road tested this yet. Hopefully never will. Very comfortable if a bit heavy, but then armor is supposed to weigh something to do its job. Tested it with a big stick, stick broke. Tested it with my fist, hurt my hand. Very cool. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I have not tested it falling off my bike.
Yes, I recommend this product.

d3o armor for Joe Rocket Phoenix 4 Jacket

I am looking to replace the back armor in my Phoenix 4 Jacket with the d3o armor. It seems to be more flexible. Is this true? Are there any fitment problems. Thank you for your time
Very flexible when it needs to be. It firms up instantly upon impact. It kinda feels like a thick slice of well done steak. It is a little stiffer when it gets down below 35 degrees F and gets softer as it gets warmer.
