This Joe Rocket was more than I expected. The outer shell keeps out all the wind and rain. The zip out mesh jacket allows me to wear armor in the 100+ summer. One cool feature I did not expect was the inside pocket for a full size face shield. I have a Nolan 104 helmet, and I can carry a clear shield if I need to switch out for riding into the evening. The shield goes around your ribs on the right side and honestly once it's in I forget it's there. This jacket runs large. I'm 6' 190lbs and I always wear a large in everything but the medium fits perfect. This thing is so comfortable I can ride all day.
If you don't have one of the face shields for your Nolan 104 you should. This shield gives just the right amount of tint for less than bright sunny days. The flip down visor can be too dark on cloudy days. On sunny days ( I live in the desert so. west) the two together work fantastic to keep the heat and glare out. The blue shield on my graphite helmet looks bad a** with my impact blue Yamaha Super Tenere.
