It blows my mind when manufacturers make boots with beautiful oiled leather........BUT NO SHIFT PAD. I bought these from another online retailer. After the first two days, I noticed a giant black blotch where the shifter would contact the top of the boot. Fast forward to now, about 2 weeks in, and already the boot is wearing through where the top of the boot hits the shift lever. Why on earth would icon NOT PUT ON A SHIFT PAD??? This is the most BASIC feature on a moto boot. It sucks that Revzilla forces you to rate Durability and Protection as one single category. The protection on this boot is amazing, however the durability is terrible. So, I am now stuck with a 200 plus dollar boot with a big rip/hole in the top where you shift. Way to screw up what could have been a great boot, Icon. Spend an extra .50 cents and put a piece of leather where the shifter hits the boot........derp.
