I am partial to the Michelin line of sport bike tires (this makes my fourth set). I've tried the pilot power 2ct and power pures. First off what makes the Pilot Power 3's better than the Pilot Power 2CT is the shape or carcass of the tire. I had absolutely no chicken strips left on the right side which is concerning since I wasn't IMO leaned excessively. Both had similar handling when raining. As a daily commuter in South Texas on a ZX6R all my previous tires had hardened from too many heat cycles before quite reaching the indicators and had a puncture from a pebble. The Power Pures exhibited excellent "flickability" I could turn in effortlessly. On the other hand I only got 4000 miles out of the tires. I am about 3000 miles into my Pilot Power 3's and there is no sign of tread wear or flat spotting even after several road trips and aggressive riding. As always Michelin tires are easy to mount if you change them yourself. Will continue to use .

It's difficult to rate the gloves dexterity because my only reference were textiles vice leather but like everything new you'll become accustom to it. The gloves hinder the use of touch screen devices but the ergonomics are well suited for riding applications such as throttle control, levers and provide adequate feedback. Break-in period was only about 4-6 hours of riding throughout a week. Some Irish pennants appeared around stitching during break-in but will not compromise the seams if removed. The rimfires are my primary riding glove since I bought them for Texas winter. Not waterproof but no complaints during an intermittent drizzle. Airflow is ideal in cooler or windy conditions. There is a polyester lining on the posterior aspect of the interior that accomodates doning and removal of the glove. The glove has a 1" wide retention strap with micro-velcro that secures the glove well in addition to the elastic stitching.

Good ergonomics, design and functionality. Great comfort and ventilation when riding but not as much when standing around. I find it helps maintain a good riding posture and provides some back support or when worn with a backpack (ride a ZX6R). Not even remotely water resistant is the only downside.

Michelin Power Super Sport Rear Tires The Power Super Sport tire from Michelin is an all new dual-compound track day tire from Michelin and represents the newest generation of Michelin rubber compounds. Features 7.5 grooved tread ratio New 2CT+ compound extends the harder compound underneath the softer shoulder compound for added cornering stability - especially when accelerating out of turns The Power Super Sport tire sets the benchmark for longevity vs. competing tires Rubber compounds were developed in World Endurance Championship racing, where durability and grip are equally important Adaptable pressure for maximizing track conditions

Do the SuperSport tires have the same tread life as the Pilot 3 tire?

Are the Supersport tire and Pilot 3 tires made out othe same softness of rubber? Do they have the same tread life?
No and I'm not speaking from experience but it's a much softer compound intended more for the track than street like the Power Ones. You should get more life from them than an average track tire though.

The Power Pure's claim to fame was their lightness. Are the Power 3s lighter, heavier, or the same weight as the Power Pures?

That was the first thing I noticed going from the Power Pures to Pilot Power 3's was the effort required to flick into turns due to increased rotational mass. The trade off to handling is stability (especially at high speed / cornering#. But so far are more durable #3000+ miles into them on a ZX6 and full tread no signs of heat stress#. My Power Pures only lasted 4000 miles before flattening and hardening to the point a 2mm pebble caused an air leak in the front tire. You won't regret getting these tires. Proper body positioning helps turnins alot #elbows 90 degrees).

Are these jackets machine washable?

I'll be using this jacket for commuting if I buy it. I'm interested in the white because it is more visible, but I am worried about how it will show grime and dirt. Are you able to wash the outer shell?
No, hand wash or spot clean as needed or take a hose to it or pressure wash if soiled. Remove the armor first then let drip dry.
