I tried the gloves on and turned the power on high and they became hot very fast. I quickly had to turn down the temperature setting before my hands began to sweat. Now granted, I was in the house, but there is plenty of heat to keep your hands warm on super cold days when you will be outside for a long time. These are a Christmas gift for my fiance and they are going to go great with the gerbings softshell I got her last year! No more "I can't feel my fingers!" Yay!
Right out of the box... nice/soft leather palms with double stitching, comfortable soft fleece lining, velcro wrist tightening, and a drawstring at the end of the gauntlet to keep snow and wind out. I gave airflow the lowest rating because these are not supposed to vent air, they're supposed to be windproof and waterproof.
I had to give Red3's review a thumbs down. Red3 maybe you did get a defective pair, but I know gerbings stands behind their products.
I got these in black not only to hide dirt over time, and because black absorbs more heat, but I will wear these too as you can't tell they are a women's glove.
If your hands are always cold, or if you have a friend/girlfriend/fiance/wife who always has cold hands, do yourself a favor and get a pair of these! Keep in mind, these are not motorcycle gloves, but they are perfect for snowshoeing, winter hiking, shoveling snow, skiing, football game, etc.
My comment on battery life is positive. I've had the men's gerbings 7V fleece for about a year and never had an issue with battery life. Try to remember to charge the batteries every once in a while even during the summer.
And of coarse as always RevZilla, you have super fast shipping and great customer service! Cheers

I've had this fleece for a few months now, and it is the warmest fleece I own. Well how couldn't it be? It's heated! Fits nice... A little snug around my neck when fully zipped, but other than that it fits great. Perfect for super cold weather especially if you are not moving around to keep warm... i.e. watching a sporting event, hunting, fishing, etc. I have gerbings 12V that I plug into the moto, but this fleece is more of an everyday garment. Fashionable and warm. The battery is great so far. I haven't had the fleece on for an extended period of time yet, so I can't comment on battery life compared to advertised, but it does seem to last a while being turned on and off in between charges.
As always, excellent customer service and fast shipping from Revzilla!
