I bought this face shield to go with my Bell Star and it was a great purchase. It works as advertised, darkening to suit the ambient light. Kind of amazing, actually. Looks great too.
Here's my criticism:
It doesn't get quite dark enough. If they could only adjust it to go 10% darker, it would be perfect. Then again, the sun in California is a bit more "unfiltered" than say, New York, so maybe it's a subjective opinion.
The face shield is not optically smooth. I see slight distortions everywhere. To be fair, I don't notice them while riding, but they are quite noticeable if I'm looking around at a stop light or something.
This isn't a criticism, per se, but just an FYI - the face shield, when dark, has a brownish-purple tint to it. Obviously, you don't notice it at all when you're looking through it from the inside of a helmet, but to those on the outside looking in, this is what they see.
That said, I think the pros far outweigh the cons. Not having to change out my face shield is priceless. I'll never get stuck riding home on the freeway, in the dark, with my dark visor open again.

I tried these on at a local motorcycle store, and they look great and have great protection for the money. However, the dealbreaker was the wrist closure loop (where the strap folds back on itself). The metal D ring digs into the top of your wrist, because of the position of the loop. In the 2 minutes I had the gloves on, it put a nice dent in my wrist and rubbed the skin raw. I can't imagine riding in these for an hour.
Unfortunately, the wrist closure is in the same position on most of the gloves in Revit's lineup, which turned me off of their gloves entirely, which is a shame, because they are some of the nicest looking gloves out there.
Revit makes great products, but this is just a bad design.
