In the middle of one of my rides I was closing my shield and the black and red plastic lock broke/came off. I would like to see Nexx include 2 free spares one for each side just in case this happens for a 600 plus helmet this shouldn’t be a problem.

Is this the complete pinlock lens insert for XR1R helmets?
Nexx has another clear pinlock lens but I'm not sure which one fits my XR1R

This Faceshield did not come with a pinlock lens but it is pinlock ready.

What is the exact weight of this helmet? is it close to the XR1R Carbon's 1250 gram?
Minimal weight difference, unless you’re looking for it it’s not noticeable.

Is this helmet "waterproof"? No helmet is 100% waterproof, but is this helmet as water-resistant as it's non-leather covered models?
I would say yes, it’s as resistant as any other leather material, may it be on a vest or jacket. I easily wipe away any moisture off of it. Also keeping the upper and lower air vents help too.

horizontal viewing area
I'm interested in this helmet specifically for the race track. I'm currently riding in a Shoei X-11 which is a great helmet but severely limits my vision in the tuck position. How does the viewable area on the XR1R compare to the X-11?
I Haven't worn the X11 but the Vision on the NEXX is superb
