This is my first HJC helmet. I've own 3 Nolan helmets prior and decided to try something different. So far I like this helmet but I do have few gripes. 1. The lever for inner sun visor is located on the top of the helmet which makes it difficult to get to while you are riding/moving. It should be located on the left side near the chin like most other modular helmets. 2. The outer visor and face shield are on a different hinge mechanism. Which means when your visor is up and you open the face shield, the visor totally blocks the lever for the inner sun visor. Very annoying. 3. I preferred the buckle style micro chin strap of Nolan rather than the standard double DD ring. It take that much longer to strap and unstrap. If HJC can make these changes to their next Gen helmets, I would definitely buy another in the future. Otherwise, I might go back to Nolan. And please keep your current helmet shape (round/neutral)!
