-These gloves are true GP tech
-It is highly recommended that you check the size chart provided for Alpinestars products before choosing your size (available in Revzilla.com) and keep in mind that the leather my seem tight at first but after a couple days it breaks in and expands, thus making a perfect fit
-Alpinestars is nice enough to include a small user guide to make the best out of your gloves
Yes, I recommend this product.

Question about sizing?

I have a pair of 2012 S-Moto gloves in Large and they seem kinda tighter than they need to be. I also have a pair of 2011 SP2s in XL that are a tad loose. Would you go with a Large or XL in the GP Techs. Thanks for your input.
1- To check your right size follow this chart:

Alpinestars Glove Sizing
GLOVE SIZING INSTRUCTIONS: Using your right hand, place a tape measure under your palm and measure from the knuckle of your forefinger to the knuckle of your pinkie finger. Note the measurement and compare it to the chart below.
Measurement Alpha Size Numeric Size
2 1/8" - 2 5/8" XS 7
2 5/8" - 3 1/8" SM 8
3 1/8" - 3 5/8" MD 9
3 5/8" - 4 1/8" LG 10
4 1/8" - 4 5/8" XL 11
4 5/8" - 5 1/8" 2XL 12

2- Bare in mind that leather expands once it breaks in after a couple rides. In my case, the gloves seemed a bit tight at first, specially when closing my fist but after a couple days they expanded and now I've got a perfect fit, so I WOULD DEFINITELY GO with a L instead of a XL in the GP techs.

3- Alpinestars suggests that to find out your right size you should wear test the gloves with your palm up and the fingers open. The fingertips should not be touching the tips of the glove, or at least just slightly. Then close your fist as if you were grabbing the bike handle bars. Make sure there are not big ripples on the palm of the glove and also make sure that the fingertips again are just slightly touching the tips of the glove. They should not feel tight or bother the movement.
