Puig Racing Windscreen BMW K1200R Sport 2007-2008 Derived from competition, the race bubble design helps diminish the air effect on a rider's helmet. Made of high impact acrylic, giving each screen added strength and flexibility 3mm thickness helps absorb vibration at high speeds, and offers resistance from cracking or scratching All screens are developed using information from wind tunnel testing

This windscreen is a drop-in and fits in the OEM fasteners. No modification required. The thickness is not as thick as the OEM screen but I expect it will not be a problem because of the double-bubble design. I have not put any mileage on the screen due to winter road conditions. I bought it because it is about the only one of two options I could find and not because the screen is exceptional. It looks like it will be serviceable however. I give this product a rating of 8.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The small plastic locks that hold the insert in place were too difficult for me to work with. I stripped the phillips head when attempting to lock the insert into place. Had to replace both of the little black plastic locks on the shield. More that once the little plastic lock popped out of the face shield when I attempted to fit the insert into place inside the face shield. This system is just too fussy to deal with for my liking.

This insert should provide the wearer a more clear view than it does. I like good, clear visibility when I ride. This pin lock insert does not provide the clarity of view I like when wearing a full face helmet. I am surprised the insert is not up to the usual Arai standard of quality. I will not wear it. It was a waste of money.

Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Racer Helmet Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side) Long Oval Fit SAI MAX-Vision Brow Vent shield Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back Long-Oval shape helps prevent Hot-Spot Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner Removable, replaceable, washable interior Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components Arai Signet Q Racer graphic has the New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

Overall, I am very satisfied with this helmet. The graphics and finish are top shelf. Get compliments from others about the appearance of the graphics. Fit is very comfortable and does not seem to change much during a long ride. A couple of nits to pick are; the pin-locks are easily ruined if using a screw driver to lock the fog shield and the rear airflow diffuser squeaks when riding at speed. Otherwise this is a great helmet.
