Large
After years of wearing First Gear jackets I was pleased with the fit of the Tourmaster jacket. I am 5/10 weight lifter build and 180 lbs. and the large was a near perfect fit. First Gear jackets fit like a tent and the sleeves where always to long. Shoulder vents work good with my V-strom windshield and jacket chest pockets are large enough for my Glock 26. So far I am very happy with the look, feel.fit and function or this jacket WAY BETTER THAN FIRST GEAR!!

How much protection does the elbow armor offer?

I’m 5’7” and 155lbs. I’ve tried the small with armor and it’s a tight but comfortable fit. Can’t really comment on on-the-bike feel.

I noticed the elbow armor doesn’t really cover as much of the forearm as most other jackets seem to do. The armor pocket seems tight and there isn’t really much space for the armor to shift elsewhere. It really just feels like the pocket isn’t deep enough to reach more than 2in past the elbow. On the other hand, the upper arm is covered almost 50%. Thoughts?
Some people have taken the elbow armor out and turned 180 degrees for a better fit for there arm.
Try this out and see if it fits better for your arm.
