TCX Infinity GTX Boot As close to perfect as it gets, the TCX Infinity Gore-Tex Boot has been a staple of the TCX line up for years. This boot was inspired by famed TCX riders Cyril Despres and Marc Coma for adventure touring. A full grain leather upper with Gore-Tex lining provide unrivaled comfort and durability. This boot has been an editor pick since the beginning. Comfort Fit System (CFS) TCX products in the Touring Range are manufactured using techniques that ensure a high quality fit the Comfort Fit System (form moulding), through which the upper is shaped on a mould that reproduces the anatomy of the human foot. The Touring Range is therefore extremely versatile and high quality, with high tech products that can also be used casually and in the city. Full Grain Leather The uppers of the TCX Touring range are made using full grain leather. This is the most valuable part of the leather, which is specially treated and rendered waterproof. The result is an upper in a natural material that gives exceptional performance in terms of protection from atmospheric agents, breathability and fit. Gore-Tex Membrane The application of the Gore-tex membrane offers an optimal combination of breathability and insulation, granting the feet to stay warm and dry, never sweaty even in extreme conditions. The durable waterproof protection stops moisture from seeping in. Gore-tex, leather, cam-locks, sueded grip panels and hard parts at the toes (shift pad), ankles and shin. These are some feature-packed boots.
I have made use of all of these features in the short time that I have had these boots. I rode a sidecar rig from Western, WA down to San Fran, CA with almost problems from these boots. Washington rain - no problem. Gripping onto my rig when hooking my legs and leaning hard into sharp turns - no problem. Warding off the vibrations from riding a thumper 600 miles in one sitting - no problem. The only issue that I had was one of the cam-locks getting jammed due to dirt that needed to be cleaned out from riding 16 miles of rough dirt road.
I can not recommend these boots enough to anyone. They are Gore-Tex which means guaranteed waterproof for life and they are extremely rugged. The hard parts in the shin have saved me many a leg injury from gravel flung at my legs by my knobbies.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This suit is great for the money but I do have a bone to pick with it regarding its waterproof claims. I recently rode a 1600 mile round trip ride down and up US 101. I found the suit to be great for the most part. The only area that I felt that it failed was in being waterproof.
For around-town, I have had no problems with water penetration. However, at highway speeds, over long distances, during hefty downpours, not so much. I had water seep in at nearly all of the zippers with the exception of the waterproof pockets. The main connection zipper only leaked near the waistline so, that is possibly a matter of fitment but the arm vent zips, chest vent zips and legs all leaked. This led to about 700 miles of being soggy and cold.
Now that that gripe is out of the way, the suit is made out of some really hefty Dupont Cordoura material and comes with CE-rated shoulder, elbow, knee AND back protectors. This is a great selling point for a first suit IMO. The ventilation is fairly adequate, though the lack of leg vents has caused me to have some rather sweat-drenched legs. This along with being rather water resistant in normal use cases, brings me to recommending this as a first bit of gear for someone on a budget.
Myself? I'm going to pick up a cheapish rainsuit, save up for something with a guarantee from Gore, and keep this as backup suit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I purchased these for my 3-wheel safety course (first time driving sub-4 wheels). They performed admirably. The outside fingers are a little long for my hands but the gloves offer far greater comfort and protection than others that I've tried out for this price-point. The gloves do feature ventilated fingers which is a very great comfort feature.
I highly recommend these as a pair of budget gloves if you are looking for your first pair or if finances are tight.
