Continental TKC70 Dual Sport Tires Bridging the gap between the more off-road oriented TKC 80 Twinduro Tires and the Trail Attack 2 Tires, the Continental TKC70 Tires make an excellent 60 on-road and 40 off-road option. Featuring innovations you've come to expect from Continental like 0 steel belt construction for superior stability and comfort even at high cruising speeds and Continuous Compound-Technology, the TKC70 tires adapt to changing conditions with ease. Specifically designed to help alleviate the complaints of short wear-life of the TKC80 Tires, the TKC70's are equally at home on light trail work as they are on slab. The usability of a slightly more street-oriented design is apparent and provides a high level of grip in all wet and dry conditions thanks to Continental's Rain Grip Compound. Aggressive siping and self-cleaning grooves add to the inclement-weather prowess of the TKC 70. When the open road calls, expect excellent mileage for long trips on asphalt and quiet, high-speed stability due to the central band on the rear tire. An ideal ADV Tire choice for larger displacement bikes like KTM 1190 Adventure Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 BMW R1200GSW Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Yamaha Super Tenere

I just did a 4000kms trip with them on a BMW r1200 GS Adventure, through the Mayan route in southern Mexico. They wobble a bit on highways if you speed past 150 km/hr. In wet pavement they work amazingly better than Heidenau, in dirt-mud they offer a great grip. After the trip they still seem to have about 2/3 of life time.
