As other reviewers have pointed out - once clicked on the feeling of being encumbered by a pack disappears and during the first few miles I felt myself reaching around just to check to see if the pack somehow blew off.
The fastening system is quick and robust and my friend said with the pack on I looked as if I was 'going out to hunt aliens'. I suppose that's good. I really expected parachute jokes but none so far have been heard.
Getting this pack on with the restricted arm mobility of a modern armored motorcycle jacket is a breeze.
Storage is just one giant bladder in the back so the pack will need to be removed to access any of the storage. This is mitigated by buying and attaching the Kube Pocket to the front which is a natural fit.
I did grocery shopping for the week using this and I found myself about 5 liters short of storage and had to bungee some items to my bike's tail. If you're a fan of boxed cereal, soda, and frozen pizzas you might need to buy one of the larger versions. Even laden with groceries, the pack did not feel cumbersome at all.
This product attaches easily to the Kriega backpack as intended but if you do not have a backpack, or like me waiting for your backpack to arrive in the mail, this will work just fine clipped to a belt and used as a belt pouch. It's reasonably weather resistant so it is a good place to stash a cell phone or mp3 player.
Hi, I'm looking for a small pocket to attach to the handlebar of my R1200GSA to hold change for tool roads.
Can I easily attach the kriega cube pocket to the handlebar?
You can however the way it attaches would leave me concerned with the Kube rotating around the bar on stops and starts. I would recommend clipping it to your belt.
