Kriega R25 Backpack The Kriega R25 motorcycle backpack has a quick release QUADLOC harness, which is Kriega's own tried, tested and highly recommended system, unique to the rucksack industry. An innovative extremely efficient load-carrying system designed for motorcycle riders. Unlike conventional harness systems the load is carried on the hips chest, transferring the majority of the load away from the shoulders and thereby preventing the neck strain experienced with regular rucksacks. Ergonomically designed with no arm restriction for long distance comfort on a motorcycle. Features Main compartment - YKK oversize zip Side access pocket with 4-point load compression Internal magazine sleeve, which can accommodate a 14 laptop Internal key-clip SUPERSPACE 5mm airspace fabric Oversize YKK coil zips Upgraded harness to enable a wider range of rider to get the perfect Kriega fit Fully hydration compatible - reservoir relocated from outer pocket to main compartment Optional Kriega 3 Liter Hydrapak + Tube avaliable (sold separately) Hydration tube routes out and over the shoulder through a covered duct located top, center of the main compartment Reflective web loops on sides of pack to facilitate easier fastening of US-10 expansion pack Schoeller DYNATECH with integrated 3M Scotchlite reflectivity 1000D Dupont Cordura base harness 420D nylon ripstop - lightweight yet extremely strong CNC 6061-T6 alloy buckles Expanding outer pocket 10 year guarantee 25-liter capacity 520mm(H) x 300mm(W) x 160(D) mm

As other reviewers have pointed out - once clicked on the feeling of being encumbered by a pack disappears and during the first few miles I felt myself reaching around just to check to see if the pack somehow blew off.
The fastening system is quick and robust and my friend said with the pack on I looked as if I was 'going out to hunt aliens'. I suppose that's good. I really expected parachute jokes but none so far have been heard.
Getting this pack on with the restricted arm mobility of a modern armored motorcycle jacket is a breeze.
Storage is just one giant bladder in the back so the pack will need to be removed to access any of the storage. This is mitigated by buying and attaching the Kube Pocket to the front which is a natural fit.
I did grocery shopping for the week using this and I found myself about 5 liters short of storage and had to bungee some items to my bike's tail. If you're a fan of boxed cereal, soda, and frozen pizzas you might need to buy one of the larger versions. Even laden with groceries, the pack did not feel cumbersome at all.

This product attaches easily to the Kriega backpack as intended but if you do not have a backpack, or like me waiting for your backpack to arrive in the mail, this will work just fine clipped to a belt and used as a belt pouch. It's reasonably weather resistant so it is a good place to stash a cell phone or mp3 player.
