GMax GM54S Modular Helmet - Solid The modular design allows the flip-jaw to rotate further back on the crown of the helmet. Just wore this for the first time for two days on the road and after the first day I had to buy earplugs and even they did not make it as quiet as my Nolan full-face. Totally bizarre how loud it was in this helmet! I think closing the front vents helped a little but there was a low rumble like the helmet was a sounding board..strange. At least the ear pads were recessed so the plugs did not hurt my ears. Great fit, no sore spots after 12-hours, cool, and the internal sun visor is a godsend. The flashing LED helped on pitch black nights in the mountains, but the helmet arrived with a dead battery. Great helmet for those of us wearing eyeglasses. Would give this 5 stars if not for the excessive noise. This is my first modular, so perhaps they are all noisier, but I honestly think it was almost as loud as if I were wearing no helmet at all on the highway (60:mph). Will have to keep this helmet for short trips or a passenger and go buy a different one. What a shame...otherwise the perfect helmet for such a great price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just tried this jacket for the first time for an Autumn ride. Took a 400-mile ride (total) from DC to the Shenandoah Blue Ridge Mountains and it was far superior to any leather jacket I have used. Flexible enough for warm sunny day and liners helped when I reached the top of the mountains after the sun went down. Truly a versatile 3-season jacket, but I would not suggest for very cold winter riding (depends on your location). Well-thought out design. Overbuilt, adjustable to weather and protective. Impressive, especially when you find it on sale for $100 as I did.
Yes, I recommend this product.
