I bought the kilimanjaro jacket with the softshell liner (my son lost the liner which I am now replacing). The liner zips in and is well secured with two/sleeve sanps andlower snaps. After having lost the liner I tried to use a fleece under the jacket. It was very hard to put on and adjust, wheras when I had the liner (with taffeta sleeve lining) it was on and off easily with perfect fit each time.
The only criticism is when the liner is worn by it's self there is no hold down snap for the snap tabs, which then flop around a bit. All in all a good complement to a first gear kilimanjaro (words cannot say how good and warm this jacket is with the liner) but not such a great jacket by it's self.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Looking at your Firstgear Softshell jacket liner video and wondering about size. I am 6'2", 200 lbs and wear a 42 sports coat.

What size would be best for me? Thanks
I am 5'10 210lbs and wear a large which is very long in the sleeves so lg should be good for you.
