Oxford Heaterz Premium Adventure Heated Grips The Oxford Heaterz Premium Adventure heated handlebar grips are made especially for adventure bikes. The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimize riding performance. Thicker rubber in areas of maximum wear rhombus tread patterns for high levels of grip and feel diamond tread pattern where maximum grip is required. Overall grip length is 5.19 and can be trimmed to a minimum length of 4.80 without damaging the heating elements. What really sets the Oxford Heaterz apart The answer is many tried and tested features such as the silicon cables which provide flexibility in the coldest weathers and the winter grade wiring prevents cracking and short circuits. The bonded grip design has been in use for many years and is well proven. The grip compound and thermo plastic rubber construction is designed to absorb vibration, making them extremely comfortable and durable, often outlasting standard grips. The silicone wires that come from the grip are angled to eliminate water ingress and resulting corrosion/ice damage and have special unique internal supports which are heat shrunk together to prevent damage if the wires are snagged. In addition, five carefully chosen heat settings allow the perfect temperature to be selected in ALL weathers and most importantly, the switch will switch off if the voltage drops to 10.5V to ensure that the battery is not damaged to the point that it cannot be recharged to full capacity. Easier than ever to install due to the new intelligent heat controller eliminating any need to wire the positive to a live ignition feed simply connect the 2 ring connectors to the battery. You'll find everything supplied by Oxford to fit your Heaterz from a wiring loom with ring connectors to the battery with simple plug and play connectors to attach to the switch and grips, smart mounting bracket and switch right down to the glue and cable ties all neatly packaged in one box. Features Fits most 7/8 handlebars Standard length 5.19 Minimum length 4.80 Sealed for life 5 heat settings give the perfect operating temperature with LED lights to indicate the level Up to 122F (50C) Rainproof switch Draws under 4A Miniaturized electronics Simpler wiring Sonically welded 2 year warranty

This is the fourth set of Oxford heated grips I've installed in the last two years. I've tried the heating elements under rubber grips and they would never put out enough heat to keep my hands warm. On a whim I tried these an was sold. They are a simple plug n play hookup and have 5 different heat settings. Usually the 4th highest setting is hot enough for me.
If you ride in anything other than sunny warm weather, you need these! You'll find AME and other brands that are similar but they will be almost twice the cost at no better performance than Oxford. What I also like about these is they have various grip patterns on the grips for various riding types: Adventure, Touring, Sport...etc
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this tire in lieu of another Maxxis Desert IT for my 2009 KTM 450 XCF and I have to say this Kenda is not only MUCH cheaper than the now overpriced Maxxis Desert tires, it performs just as well and is DOT legal.
I did my first ride on it yesterday, 145 miles of everything from rocky single track to wide open desert road, silt, asphalt sand and whoops. It handled it all perfectly with excellent traction with me throwing roost and gunning it the entire time. The tire shows minimal wear.
For the price right now I don't think you can find anything that will beat the performance and durability. I'll be interested to see how many actual hours I can get out of it vs the Maxxis Desert rears. But heck already the price is better, so that's a big selling point.
Now I just need to find a tire that matches this one but for intermediate terrain.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Go ahead and price other systems, you'd think their mfg's think their stuff is made of gold. I paid $540 shipped for this product and it drastically out-values the other $800-1000 slipons sold by (Two) Tool-Brothers and other European mfg's. It has a very nice growl without being too loud, though I'll admit I wish it was a bit louder. The V4 engine is meant to be heard, it is so sweet sounding. Especially now that it has this slip-on. The slip-on even came with low decibal sound inserts, which I quickly removed because they make it sound like a muffled moped, or exactly like the stock mufflers.
The draw back to this product are the terrible instructions. You might as well just throw the instructions away. Yes they are that bad. I cannot believe Leo Vince USA would sell such a nice product with the instructions or lack thereof. That aspect of the product shouldn't be tolerated. There is no reason for this product to be this nice yet have instructions with no pictures and only a few sentences that try to explain how to put together a 20 piece system! Horrid. Shame on you Leo Vince. And shame on Revzilla for not even caring and allowing them to be sold with those instructions.
One other item of note: make sure you lube the connector pieces with WD40 or whatever in order to get them to slip-on and be able to move them around. Having a second hand is very helpful so that person can assist in holding the can and strap in place when you are ready to tighten it down to the correct position.
Yes, I recommend this product.
