If you're willing to forego CE armor, this suit is a screaming deal in cold-weather riding clothes. Most of the year I use a serious riding jacket with armor and a zip-out insulated liner and an electric liner. I was getting tired of climbing into all that plus insulated pants in the winter. The Firstgear Thermo has relatively thin insulation, but it seals so well that it is nearly airtight. To my surprise, I haven't even needed to wear the electric liner (much less turn it on) for temps above freezing. (I do recommend a windproof neck gator for really cold weather).
Rain protection also is excellent.
With a little practice, it's very quick and easy to don and doff.
Because of the color, I do wear a Spidi hi-vis vest on top.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Powerlet Rapidfire Heated Jacket Liner With 5 Position Controller Powerlet's RapidFIRe Heated Jacket Liner packaged includes the Wired 5 Position Remote Heat Controller. Powerlet's RapidFIRe Heated Jacket Liner with CNC (Carbon Nano Core) heating uses Far Infrared technology to provide fast, deep, soothing warmth. Now the warmest liner on the market at 105 watts! Built in stuff sack and no annoying heating wires of any kind! Stay Warm While Riding Powerlet's 105 watt RapidFIRe heated jacket liners pack down to a very small size to fit on the bike when not in use. Not only the warmest heated clothing available, but ProForm stretch panels also make them the most comfortable. We recommend using the temperature controller with the RapidFIRe 105 watt jacket liners. The RapidFIRe Advantage The most unique feature is the heating system that is incorporated into every liner. Using the latest in Carbon Nanotube technology, Powerlet's Carbon Nano Core panels heat quickly and evenly without the hot spots or long heat times other conventional wired garments require. Additionally, Powerlet is the ONLY manufacturer to offer a dual heat setting that permits you to switch the total consumption to not exceed 60 watts. This means those of you who have bikes or vehicles that do not have the electrical output capacity to power a traditional or competitors liner can rest assured that the RapidFIRe line will get powered without draining your battery and leaving you stranded. Additionally, Powerlet once again incorporated the ProForm stretch panels that provide three key advantages non-binding movement, maximum heat transfer and simple sizing. While all three are very important, maximum heat transfer is perhaps the most important. For maximum heat transfer the heated garments must be close to the body. A long sleeve T-Shirt is recommended under the heated liners. A heavier layer can be worm over the garment. Other heated clothing manufacturers provided many sizes to attempt to create a snug fit. This often leads to a more complicated purchase and the potential improper fit if your weight changes. RapidFIRe 105 Watt Jacket Liner Features Dual Heat 105 / 60 Watt convertibility by a simple cable disconnect Wind and water resistant Polyurethane coated nylon outer shell ProForm stretch panels provide comfort and simple standard sizing Ultra thin design provides comfort and small storage Comfortable heated Polartec fleece collar wicks moisture Zippered pockets manage power cables Handy built in stuff sack allows for storage on the vehicle Unique sleeve finishing reduces bulk around wrists Glove connectors are located at the ends of the sleeves Heated on the front, back, arms and collar - full heat coverage Quick heat time of 20 seconds or less on the jacket liners Designed For A Lifestyle Powerlet designs heated garments for people who rely on their heated clothing for both comfort and safety. Like their customers, they enjoy a lifestyle utilizing convenient modern electronics and wear our heated gear for commutes to work and trips across the country. Built For A Lifetime Powerlet seeks the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. All of their heated clothing products are developed and tested in the USA by people who ride regularly. Quality components and attention to detail ensure Powerlet products resist wear and corrosion to last a lifetime. All Powerlet RapidFIRe heated clothing carries a lifetime warranty on the electrics and a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects.

I've been riding year-round for 45 years. (My first body heater ran on lighter fluid!) The Powerlet is my 4th and best electric liner. Because it's not insulated, it's thin and fits more easily under a riding jacket. It supplies heat evenly to the body, sleeves, and high collar.
The fabric has a pleasantly soft peach-fuzz finish inside and out. Personally, I'd prefer a more slippery finish that would make it even easier to slide into the top layer jacket.
The included digital controller has 5 heat levels and 1 button-- each press goes 1 level higher, and then from "highest" to "off". The controller could have a better user interface. The biggest problem is that the button is a very shallow smooth bump on the controller's surface. It's impossible to find by feel with even thin gloves. Also, tiny red LEDs on an arc from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock show the current heat setting. Particularly at night, it's impossible to read.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Got a wonderful winter riding suit in a stealth color with very little reflective material. This vest is a cheap and effective solution. The amount of high-viz color and reflective tape makes it can't-miss. Easy to don and doff, and doesn't flap in wind. Packs down to nothing.

For the last few years I've worn a similar jacket from another manufacturer and kept a mental list of features that could be improved. The Kilimanjaro satisfies the whole list, and it's reasonably priced. It doffs, dons, and fastens easily, and it seals well. I especially like the underhelmet hood and the adjustable collar snap.
I also get regular compliments on its looks from both acquaintances and strangers.
The standard impact pads at shoulder/elbow/back do not include hard shells. This makes the jacket significantly lighter and more comfortable, and I'm OK with the level of protection. Some people will want to buy the optional hard-shell pads.
