I got this jacket back in 2010, blue one, and i've used it through rain storms, cold weather, and it's been great. Used this jacket, with liner and proper cold protection, in 20 degree weather in virginia, where humidity makes life miserable. Been through several bad rainstorms on my bike with this on and my shirt stayed bone dry, just not the rest of me. Very waterproof and will keep you nice and warm in the cold. The fit is a little big when the liner is taken out, but with it in it fits pretty snug. It's my first jacket and i'm still using it today. Can't wait to test it out in this cold Colorado weather.

Should I add scotchguard ?

Just curious if it would help any or not, I live in North Idaho and showers spring up suddenly here.
Nooooooooooo, this jacket is very waterproof. Trust me i've been in some bad rain with this jacket and it's kept me dry, the parts of me in the jacket of course.
