The sun protection and look/fit etc are all great on the shield, however the fog free protection is not the greatest. I have since coated it in the Clarity defog drops, best stuff on the market just do not get the towel packs those do not work, has to be the drops and they need to be buffed into the shield with a microfibre cloth.
Bit of a pain in the butt to remove the shield once every two weeks to do this, but it is worth it in my opinion as the antifog coating is not all that it is cracked up to be and the Clarity defog drops are the best on the marker IMO.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Icon Variant Construct Helmet Stripped of graphics and devoid of undue flair - the Construct wanders the earth in opaque minimalism. It is purity of form amongst the flamenco masses. It is truth of materials amid the technicolor hordes. In a world where no two helmets are created equal, the Variant Construct and its raw shell stand alone. The Icon Variant Helmet is a revolution in ADV and urban riding. Designed give riders the advantages of both a street and dirt helmet, the Variant makes use of a wide field of view, aerodynamically tuned peak visor, super strong Fiberglass/ Dyneema/Carbon matrix shell and a dual density EPS core. Extensive venting and the HydraDry sweat wicking liner helps prevent serious moisture buildup and keeps you cool when the heat is on. To keep the Variant stable at speed, the engineers at Icon developed the anti-lift visor to direct airflow, both into the intake vents and over the shell of the helmet to reduce buffeting and wind noise. An optically correct face shield and extended viewport keeps your vision clear and your eyes on the prize. Features Fiberglass / Dyneema / Carbon Fiber Shell Industry leading multi-inlet ventilation system Wind tunnel tested and refined anti-lift visor Integrated chin EPS air channels reduce shield fogging Optically correct anti-fog shield Removable and washable HydraDry moisture wicking liner Removable chin curtain All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (Australia) and SG (Japan) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country NOTE Helmet ships with both Clear and Dark Smoke faceshields.

Recently purchased this helmet and it arrived the other day. After a few days of wearing I have to say that the helmet is exactly what I expected from the reviews I have read. It is a little harder to get on then most helmets though I find. It seems to narrow a bit at the bottom of the helmet but opens up in the interior, not a bad thing, but one has to be careful when doffing and donning the helmet so as to not catch their ears. This will loosen up I am told as it did with my friends whom I tried on.
On the construct the helmet is not actually white, the helmet is more os a dirty white, think fibre glass when it dries so the pictures are a bit misleading, but it is a great looking helmet.
I ride a ducati monster and was a bit on the edge whether to get this helmet or not as my last helmet was an arai vector II(was in btw sizes so I grabbed the larger one, bad mistake, the foam collapsed to much from me wearing a balaclava in the winter time here in the PNW). I have gotten nothing but compliments on how the helmet and bike look completely sick together. Sadly seems only the guys compliment me on the bike and helmet, the women all seem to like these harley bikes around here, going to have to switch it up me thinks, haha.
Pros:
-fit
-comfort
-field of vision
-appearance
-liner
Cons:
-Not sure how durable the peak is
-secondary tinted shield doesn't seem to fit as well as the original clear
-narrow opening at base of helmet, makes it hard to doff/don
Overall this is probably my favourite helmet to date and would look at home on a mx/dual sport as well as a street bike.
Yes, I recommend this product.
