Price on the 2-pack is great now. The F5 has some real awesome features others dont have any I love mine so far.
pros
1. the Text to Speech is great. No other unit lets you listen to who is calling you
2. buttons are easy to push while riding
3. intercom is clear and loud

1. speakers i think need more bass. Interphone says that with more bass and people speaking, it sounds bad, so the unit has been optimized for intercom
2. cannot lower the volume of the TTS.
3. the TTS voice seems that at certain times she 'peaks' and sounds a little slurred. It's okay though

Realistically does this pair well with Dianese pants?
I ride a cafe racer that I carve canyons with and I want a 2 piece suit. I love the design of the jacket without all the action that other jackets and suits have. But what I want to know is, would this realistically pair well with a zip in pair of pants? Or do you have to go more a GP style jacket? If it might, what pants are the best pairing?

But what I want to know is, would this realistically pair well with a zip in pair of pants? Or do you have to go more a GP style jacket? If it might, what pants are the best pairing?
I found out by calling Dianese they do not make any pants with this same tanning process. They have a pair of just straight leather pants (no armor, no pucks, etc.) that is close, but not quite the same. The zipper though in the jacket is fully compatible with the regular GP style pants, they just wont match color/style perfectly.

Can you plug in standard noise isolating earphones rather than using the supplied external speakers?
As others stated no.
However, to add to the ear-bud comment. I spoke to them about this and they said that while people used the ear-buds, when using ear-buds the microphone is disabled, so they received complaints. The [supposed] plan is to revise this so you can use ear buds but also use the microphone.
Also, the updated headset that is for sale in Europe (coming to USA next y ear) and is labeled "F5S" is the same unit completely, but the headset has a revised right ear bud where the 3 wires coming off are different. Both left and right ear buds offer the male/female coupler and the mic is separate. Otherwise the exact same drivers (speakers) and mic.
