This was purchased on a low budget, to provide warmth while riding. For this price range, this vest is very nifty. It does a pretty good job of keeping your upper half warm. Although riding below freezing temps, 100% power is the only viable option to keep you warm and that kills the battery life. I'd say after a month, battery life operating at 100% (talking fully charged each and every time before rides) lasts about 45mins to an hour and a half. After that, there's some heat but not very much. Always keep that charger on you!

I've had my eye on this Shoei for a while now, since it was up for pre-order. We all know what the rf-1100 is a great lid and the series is now being replaced for the 1200 series. With that said, I bought this in the white version and could not be more pleased with it. The paint job is wicked, so detailed that Im feeling the pain already of debris hitting it and scuffing it up. But, I ride and that is to happen. All I can say is pick this up while Zilla still has your size. For 359, you cant go wrong! Thanks Revzilla for slashing the price down a bit!

I bought this liner to fine tune my RX-Q. My head measured right around 57cm, using the charts, I purchased a Medium. It fit like a charm during the break in period, but started feeling a little loose (loose as in not race fit, I prefer race fit). Purchasing a 15mm liner and cheek pads gave that extra dialed in fit that made the RX-Q a lot more customized if you will. I highly recommend a thicker liner if you want a tighter fit.

Dainese New Drake Air Textile Pants Drake pants will surely interest anyone who loves to ride his or her bike especially in the warmer months without wearing a suit or leather pants in order to obtain the protection required. These previously contrasting needs have now been perfectly reconciled by Drake fabric pants. Ample air vents in fretted fabric with closing on the thighs permit fresh air to enter during riding for cooling relief on even the hottest days. When temperatures begin to drop, the air vents can be closed. Safety is guaranteed by removable composite protections in the knee and shins, while extra-strength Cordura 750 fabric offers protection in case of fall. The elastic inserts in the knee optimize the wearability of the article, which is equally suited to metropolitan motorcycle use. Features Removable composite protectors. Cordura fabric 750. Suretta fabric. Perforated fabric. Insert in elasticated fabric. Soft inserts. Calf zip. Jacket-trousers fastening system. Adjustable waist. Sanitized lining.

I've had the Alien leathers for about 2 weeks and while I love them, I can't see myself walking around my neighborhood to pick up my bike in them haha. So, now that the weather is coming along and I do not want a skin graph in case of a slide, I picked these bad boys up. I test drove them today on the west side hwy about 3hrs, and felt relieved in having some wind flow into my knees with the zips open. The knee/tibia protection feels substantial along with the hip padding. I do believe these will hold up just fine in case of a fall. As for walking around, they have the same type of feel as the Adidas clima-cool mesh sweats. Walking home from the garage made me feel a bit sticky, but nothing unbearable. All in all, they fit great, feel great and are seriously comfortable. Just wish they were more in the 180-200 range, but this is Dainese guys, nothing comes cheap from them including quality!

Confidence inspiring set of leathers that zip up to Dainese jackets, creating a pretty decent 2 piece. There is an adjustment period if you've never worn leathers before, like myself, but put that aside the comfort and thickness is what you'd expect for a $450 pant. The protection is very substantial and I feel confident that if I were to come off my Daytona I'll walk away with no major damage from sliding or impact. Tucking these into my Gaerne GP-1 boots takes a bit of adjusting as the knee/tibia guard is rather large, I found that pulling the pant leg up once in the boot, then zipping up, offers proper range of motion and overall fit. If you can't see yourself wearing sliders around twisties or just long trips, buy these! You will not be disappointed.

This leather fits spot on. Nice an snug fit gives you the confidence you want when flying on the highway. In NYC weather at the moment, with just a thermal underneath, your body stays warm and comfortable. The armor and reflective material are spot on and the overall design is very eye catching. Lots of looks and compliments on this jacket. Yea its 600, but when you want proper protection you have to shell out the money for it. I am very satisfied with Dainese's product. I'm 5'11 170 with an athletic build (muay thai fighter) and the 50/40 fits like a glove.
